It's a huge step up in wages and he is more likely to win something domestically at it is not as competitive as the PL but on the world football stage, it's a sideways move. He was good for us when we were good but when it all started to go wrong he was never the sort of player to step up. Champions League final a prime example.

His attitude on the pitch over the last 18 months didn't help him but that's on him because he is in Italy now instead of Spain.

Is it wrong to think hes a bit of a cock for not saying anything about Spurs or the fans while hes announcing that hes moved?

Or am I being precious

You’re being precious.

The guy was getting abused by his own fans whenever he stepped on the pitch this season.
Plus all the made up bullshit about Jan banging his missus. I’m not surprised he couldn’t wait to get away.

Very glad this saga is over but strange move for him. I get that he wants a new challenge fair enough but I can’t see inter winning much with Juve around, so he’s basically moved for more wages and a nice life in Italy.

cant believe Barca or R.Madrid weren’t more keen on him.

And now one Beatle remains.

And before you all panic that Paul McCartney has died and we’re left with the shit drummer, I mean Lamela.

I loved CE but the last 12 months he showed no desire on the pitch and was no longer the big game player as the champions League showed.

I think the last 12 months cost him his dream move to Spain and now he has to settle for Inter.

I wish him luck at Inter

I dunno. Inter are doing something special. They will be competitive for sure.

I can believe Barca and Madrid were not in for him. In Madrid he simply doesn't fit the system and Barca are actually well stocked in that area. The only option for either club is to try and play him a little deeper. But there is no evidence that he is all that special there. The reality is that Eriksen is on the second tier of football players. He would be useful for big big teams but not really improve them. His form in the last year only increased the doubts and pretty much confirmed that Eriksen just wasn't really worth it.

And we convinced Inter to pay the 5% sell on fee to Ajax and finagled a deal where we take the entirety of the gate fees for a summer friendly against Inter :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

He was a brilliant player for us. Absolutely ran the show and what a show it was.

He was no Bale; no Ginola; no out of your seat star. But he was the heart beat of the team which took Spurs to a level I've never experienced before nor dreamt of. Classy, constant, so incredibly hard-working without seeming too. The absolute standout buy from the "Bale money".

He was the professional this team hadn't had since Modric.

Goodbye and good luck Christian

I think Spain is vastly overrated but I get what you mean in terms of him wanting Real or Barca and having to settle with Inter. Juve wanted him years ago before they picked up Pjanic to replace Pirlo but he was his own worst enemy by just giving up on working hard. He may yet win a league title as Inter are getting better under Conte and I think he'll do well with the calmer, more tactical game in Italy where he'll get a bit more space, but Juve are still dominant. It's not where he would've seen himself but maybe he feels he can up his game over the next couple of years with a fresh start and there's still a chance for a big move again.

Held og lykke, Christian.

Thanks for the memories.

A great player on his day, just a shame it ended how it did.
