Have to say, this has been my thoughts for a while, more truth to the rumour than made out.

times for for lack of performance and you could almost understand why he’d want a fresh start, I guess similar issues with beers as well.

would crush you though, best mate doing that

They both dismissed it on social media.

Yes and some people have said the culprit was Trippier and that’s why he was suddenly gone. Amazing how Tripps was here one minute then gone when all our other transfers take months or even years
Well Trippier was actually wanted by another team, most of our outgoings aren’t.

Possibly a club directive, guess neither would want it out in public - may or may not of happened, just looking at it all as to finding out why I suppose.
You know what ya fans are like, always trying to find an excuse!

Is still not clear what trippier was hinting at when he spoke on trouble behind the scenes.

Eriksen was superb for us for years no doubt about it. I do not like the lack of effort from him last 18months. When Hazard, Ramsey, Coutinho, Bale, Modric wanted to leave they all still gave everything for there clubs up until the last second. That's.why people are booing.

Fun theory. And by theory I mean, definitely real.
So he’s playing for us when he’s said he wants out, but rose isn’t. Because Mourinho doesn’t want people in the team who want out.
Difference being Eriksen can command a large fee.
Levy has told Jose to play him so we can say to inter we have no interest in selling in January for anything less than the €20mil he’s asked for as he’s an important member of the squad. He’s showing inter that we are happy for him to stay and if they want him now so they can push for league title they have to stump up the money, or wait. Clever old Levy.
Don’t care if it’s been said before, I thought of it and it’s mine.

What`s Christians problem? Why doesn`t he want to play for us any more? I could understand his desire for a move to Real or Barcelona, but Inter..?! Seems like he just wants a move far away from London and Spurs. Why?

Because Inter are a far bigger and more successful then Spurs, playing in a wonderful city steeped in culture and history, who have a good shot at winning a title sometime soon.

Cough, Jan Vertonghen

Not at all helpful.

Don’t think Levy is telling Mourinho to do anything re team selection.

Why else would he still be involved in the setup when he clearly doesn’t want to be here?

Bale and Modric wouldn't train, Berbatov refused to come on as a sub, yet they're worshipped on here.

The difference between Eriksen and Rose is that one is a little gobshite who having around the squad gives a negative impact, the other whilst not really putting himself about on the pitch is clearly still training well and is part of the team.

Nothing particularly new or interesting in this Telegraph article:

..except for this bit:

“Spurs are expected to be active in the transfer market next week as they look for a striker to cover for Harry Kane’s injury, a defensive midfielder and a right-back.”

So Eriksen is the only player at Spurs the last 18 months to have taken a severe dip in form?

What is everyone else's excuse?

In an interview I read after he left he intimated that he was made to play through injury and players were scared to admit to being injured to management / coaching staff as it didn’t go down well.

Shame how it's ending with him, because he undoubtedly was one of our best players. Was at the semi v Chelsea where he played that ball to Dele and I couldn't believe he had just done that. Incredible player on his day. Hope after he leaves he does go back to that and show people how good he really is.
