Ok that's being too literal. We don't know yet what they would pay for Eriksen but with that money we could get Lets say Lo Celso ,Ceballos on a loan and Dani Olmo not that we need all 3
But the point is getting the money for Eriksen and no losing him for nothing, its also possible that Poch doesnt even want Eriksen at this point
Floggin’ the rocking horse; getting nowhere.

I just hope that madrid make an offer. Otherwise he will leave next summer on a free and we have no control of where he goes.

Think it may drag on a while yet as well, not until the Pogba situation has been resolved. Which is not good news for us.

Sell him to United and see if he can make them great again
I'll take my chances with NDombele and one of 2 or 3 other players

But apparently he doesn't want to go to United.

Think about it, why would he want to go there other than for money? They aren't in the champions League, we have a better manager, he's not going to challenge for the title there for years, we have a better stadium and we have better training facilities.

If it's just down to money he might go there, but I don't think it is.

Maybe he will walk back the statement about leaving and stay. Meanwhile it's quite amazing that no other teams are in for him

Why is it amazing? He said in that interview what a great club we are and that it would have to be an amazing opportunity to make him leave. There's probably only six or seven clubs that he would consider, most of whom probably aren't looking for someone in his position right now.

I think plenty of teams would be more than happy to sign him, but are probably put off with what Levy would want for a player out of contract in 12months.

Besides, seems like he’s set on Madrid, but it’s clear Pogba is the one they want and they would only move on Eriksen once they know they can’t get him.

And most of whom aren't going to pay anywhere near what Levy wants this summer, even though he's in his last year.

It’s perfectly possible that if he doesn’t get the move he ideally wants, which is still one of the two Spanish giants apparently, he’ll sign a new contract with Spurs instead of being stuck on his current below-market-rate terms.

It’s not as though he’s ever said he’s desperate to leave, or just wants a move for the sake of it. He could double his money just for staying at a club he’s happy at. Of course he could get even more at RM, but only If they come after him.

I’m not predicting that he will sign a new contract, but if RM don’t make a move, it’s not as outlandish an idea as some seem to think.
