If Liverpool bid £10m for Gazzaniga I will give you £20. Don't be so bloody daft.
A hypotethical Question was asked, is he worth 10m+ ?
And I answered it. Thats not me being daft...
Thats me, answering a hypothetical question. ? ? ?
Okay well on the basis that he's knocking 30, and has 6 clean sheets in 61 Premier League appearances, even PSG and Manchester City wouldn't pay £10m for him.
No team in their right mind would.
Which is why we should offer him to Chelsea for £71m.
If we don't sell them PG, they'll just buy another decent backup keeper instead.it's not like we'd be selling them a first choice playerHere's the thing, I never said they weren't. I even said
6 weeks with Adrian flapping around in goal destroys their season and if we provide them with a huge upgrade then they won't fall back into the pack and frankly Jose and Levy would be negligent if they sold to Liverpool
String them along to just before deadline then pull the deal, it would be so amusing? If we don't sell them PG, they'll just buy another decent backup keeper instead.it's not like we'd be selling them a first choice player
How many times and in how many different ways do I have to explain this. If Liverpool were on fire, even if they offered us £100 million to piss on them we should never accept it and help them.If we don't sell them PG, they'll just buy another decent backup keeper instead.it's not like we'd be selling them a first choice player

If they go somewhere else, it is not our problem and we should not care

Nobody in the know or in the media has suggested that Skriniar signing is dependant on Gazza leaving so your argument falls down there. It depends who it benefits more. If we got a fee and a squad place that allowed us to get Skriniar a regular starter and improvement for us all season while costing them some £ and only fixing a short term problem (and really is he going to be that much better than Adrian?) when he doesn't strengthen them long term then we would just be being stubborn and stupid not to take that opportunity. If they were trying to sign someone from us that improves their first 11 and weakens us then absolutely it should never even be considered.
I can explain it to you, I can't understand it for you.Sorry but that is ridiculous. We should definitely take a massive over inflated fee for a player we know is not making them better.

Strengthening Liverpool long term is not the point, everyone and their mum knows that Alisson is first choice and will be straight back in when fit, however Liverpool seem to think Gazza is better than Adrian otherwise they wouldn't be asking the question. There is a very real possibility that Liverpool will drop more points because Adrain is weak and their defence don't trust him. For Liverpool the paltry sums mentioned in the thread would make signing him a no-brainer for Liverpool if it means not dropping 3, 6 or 9 points whilst Alisson is out.
None of us know what will happen this season but there is a very real chance that at the end of the season that the next 6 weeks could be the difference between them and us being in the Champions League and that's worth a lot more than the peanuts you lot seem to think we'd get for Gazza
Its well nown we have too many non HG players. This is an opportunity to move on a non hg player that isn't going to play. The talk on Skriniar is being apart in value... get more money may not change that but you would think it would help. The only negative in this is how many points would gazza win them that Adrian wouldn't and I don't see the answer to that question being many at all.
I can explain it to you, I can't understand it for you.
Agree, but if we sign Skriniar then we do definitely have to drop one player from our non HG quota and with Hart seemingly no.2 choice now it would make zero sense for us to continue using a valuable non HG spot on our 3rd choice keeper.Nobody in the know or in the media has suggested that Skriniar signing is dependant on Gazza leaving so your argument falls down there.
Wow - great put down flame boy, will have to remember that one!
If you seriously would reject £100M from Liverpool for Gazzaniga in the mistaken belief that you would be improving them, even if it facilitated us seriously improving our own position then you are not very clever.
Liverpool won't pay anything like £100 million for him
For the price they will offer I can't see it being good enough to let him go there, but might bring in other bids that we could look at.
