Tottenham have too many players who do not count as locally trained, which restricts their squad size, and it makes little sense to have two foreign reserve goalkeepers. Michael Vorm, the Dutchman, was released and Paulo Gazzaniga, the present No 2 from Argentina, is likely to be sold.

Good. Like Gazza but there’s not really any point in keeping him if we think Hart is up to it. Allows us to promote Austin/Whiteman too.

Anyone who watched Joe Hart play for Moyes's West Ham or Burnley should know you don't want Joe Hart playing a lot of minutes in a sit deep counter attacking team and get here we seemingly are. Gazzaniga isn't really good either but at least he's got some youth and versatility for goalkeeping style. Ah well, off to my hole again before the Joe Hart truthers come and yell at me.

Would make sense to sell him on as we could get a reasonable fee for him and with Hart joining we have a half decent backup.

Like a lot of our current players, I like Gazz but wouldn't be opposed to moving him on for the greater good because he's just not quite good enough.

I can imagine him wanting to be number one somewhere - he's approaching the peak of his career. He won't attain that position with us though...

I would prefer to keep Gaz as 2nd/3rd choice and loan out Austin and Whiteman.

But from his perspective and to save money on wages/bring in a transfer fee I can see why he might be sold.

It's the home-grown issue that's the problem. Keeping Gazza and loaning out one of the youngsters doesn't solve this.

Some people get so far on a downer about certain players it defines everything they ever post about them after that, it feeds itself :D

This is going to be one hell of a season in Spurs Chat because we're getting to have SO many players in the squad that are going to be scapes for those that aren't happy. And that's without including the manager :D
