Had an excellent first half. Always looking to make a quick pass forward unlike Winks he was never content with the square or back pass.
Same level wasnt maintained in the second half with a few misplaced passes and tackles leading to a yellow card.
Overall an encouraging performance and IMO has far more in his game then Winks who Im sure he will replace in the squad next season if he maintains this level and improves still further.

Yeah he played well first half. Second half the whole team were poor and he was basically a 1 man midfield. Boothroyd really fucked him with his tactics going 4141 in the second half. He push Bellingham further forward leaving Skipp isolated on the counter attack. He was pressurised on the ball with nobody near him to pass it to and gave it away a few times.

How he’s got away without injury is incredible(has since been subbed off but hopefully tactical)
