Last I saw Dragon said either Sunday or Monday he still thinks this is our guy. If there's anything more recent I haven't seen it.
I hadn't seen much on him, and links seem brittle at best (in the media) thanks for the info.

Tying in with Dragon's latest from yesterday and Dele potentially going to PSG, I wonder if there's a deal to be done now with Edouard where PSG don't take as big a sell-on fee in exchange for Dele with no loan fee? Think it was mentioned before but seems plausible.

I have absolutely no idea how this would work, but if it could finagled, that sounds great.

Jules Laurens said on todays TFS that PSG aren't interested in Dele.

I reckon Danny Boy places the Dele toPSG story for precisely that reason

Surely Rangers was the most successful portion of his career?

He was never really a regular there.

They played 3-5-2 in his entire time there and they had a plethora of forwards in that time. McCoist, Laudrup, Hateley, Salenko, Lovenkrands, Johanson, Rozenthal, Van Vossen, Bo Anderson, Tore Andre Flo. He often ended up playing in midfield.

I watched a lot of SPL in those days - Durie played far more than all of those names bar McCoist and Hately, and accumulated more appearances and goals than Laudrup too. Lovenkrands only joined around 5 months before Durie left for Hearts.

He got plenty of games during McCoist’s numerous times out injured, then even more so when Hateley left. He was often paired with Laudrup up front or, alternatively, with Rod Wallace and Laudrup given license to roam wherever he pleased.

He won a tonne of medals too. Definitely the most successful period of his career.
