So to get two tickets, I would either need two One Hotspur accounts or go through StubHub or some other ticket broker?

To get two tickets through Spurs that's correct you would need two memberships unless tickets go to general sale which at the moment seems about as likely as the UK leaving the EU. :)

I did, but couldn't get through until too late the problem is junior tickets can't be bought when member + go on sale. Agreed the website is abysmal
Junior tickets can be brought at the exact same time as adult ones, but only exist in cheaper parts of the stadium (effectively North and South, excluding bits of the middle tier).

Ultimately though the problem is that there is much more demand than supply right now. However tickets are sold many will miss out, there is not a sales system that can fit 80k people into 62k seats.

There's definitely changes that can be made. Finding a way to enable the sale and purchase of Exchange tickets at concession prices would help. And in reality, whatever Ticketmaster do, a queue can't really work when so many people are able to login at the same time. It's just going to be random with added frustration, so you may as well use a ballot - or consider Loyalty Point requirements for bigger home games, like we did in the last season of OWHL.

You could also make it so that all members could get to some games but none can go to all e.g. if you get a ticket for Villa you become ineligible to get one for Palace. But nothing will increase the supply other than decreasing the number of corporate (huge income source) or ST seats (which would mean nobody from the waiting list getting one for a few years), which wouldn't be popular either.

Ticket exchange now seems available on all three games , at the moment not much for Villa. Still seems to be ordinary price tickets available for Newcastle & Palace but mostly singles

And lastly, any advantage to buying One Hotspur + over the One Hotspur?

I would say so now, as there definitely seems a higher percentage of tickets available for + members than there were previously. I got on reasonably early yesterday and there were way more tickets than there ever was for + members before. It’s not much more in cost, but will now give you a better chance (providing you can actually get on the site in the first place).
You always have the 2nd normal membership day as well to try if you can spare the time.

Even for random matches like Southampton or Norwich?

Same sales procedure is used on all games, in the first sales windows it goes to members first if tickets do not sell out then they will go to general sale . As the first three games have almost sold out in two days unless team is doing very badly how likely are any games going to go to general sale , who knows?

Is the process the same for champions league games?

Some expensive (£65-80) pairs keep popping up on the ticket exchange for Villa. I'm not sure if it's meant to work like this but I got 3 lots in my basket and then removed the 2 sets I didn't want.

Yep, no Premier League matches are likely to reach general or guest sale unless we have a horrifically bad start to the season. Tickets for the Inter friendly did (although are very close to sold out now just popping up periodically), and domestic cup games might as well if we don't draw another big team or rival.

The main advantage is that Hotspur + get a chance to get a ticket a day before ordinary Hotspur members. According to Spurs website 65% of available tickets will go on offer on the first sales day to Hotspur + members the remainder plus any left from first day sale go on sale on the second day of sales. As Hotspur + you also go on the ST waiting list but it's not compulsory to buy an ST, if you are offered and refuse you just go to the bottom of the list again but still retain the bonus day of sales IF you can get through the queue of the donut.

Exactly the same process yep, but expect big matches in the PL or CL to be harder to get than these and have less availability on the Exchange too.

You don't go to the bottom, you stay at the top and will end up getting offered one pretty much every year unless they stop selling them at all.

I stand corrected , thought that was only for Wembley and last seasons problems when you retained your position

Always been the way, although of course at Wembley you might well have been offered one at 60k on the list or something in which case you won't be offered again any time soon as you were nowhere near the top.

Even more annoyed than yesterday doughnut of death for the exchange
Finally got in and selected a seat in 501 entered all my credit card details and submitted
Then it just hung for 15 mins
Called the ticket office another 20 mins and they told me I don’t have any seats booked
This is WORSE than last season
Now when I try to log in I get internal (think that should read infernal) server error

Email to supportersevices coming up this evening for whatever good that will do

Try clearing browser cache , still Newcastle & Palace tickets available virtually all singles though. Expect Villa will come back on the exchange as we getter closer to the game.

Don't even bother looking at the seat map, just use the find me a seat option.

I forgot they were on sale until 10:50 today. spent about 45 minutes in the queue and just kept trying for 2 seats together in a stand. Ended up with 4 sets of tickets in my basket and chose the best 2. Most were top 2 rows upper tier but managed to get 2 together in north lower.

Edit: Seems plenty available for Newcastle now, including 2 together in north lower.
