Sorry if I'm asking the obvious, but are you definitely in a seat where the over-65 discount applies? If your ST costs more than £1125 you'll still have to pay full price, whereas you could get it anywhere at Wembley. Think it's already caught a couple of people off-guard.
Yes, thanks, that will be the problem. Not much I can do about it now. Apparently one can't change one's seats for the next couple of millennia.

Yes , I’m paying full whack for my 1882 ST but I can understand that . I am sure that consession seats were only available in certain cheaper parts of the old WHL stadium

Not so. My Dad was able to get concessions on his ST at the old WHL and we were on the half way line. A relatively “lesser” ticket now ( still East Lower, but a lot less central ) and no concessions.

It got a bit weird after that. When the booking page for our reserved tickets finally appeared, I clicked through and got an error message that this account was not eligible to book these tickets. In other words, we weren't season ticket holders.

So I had to ring the booking office and wait on hold until a human confirmed our tickets and took payment.

But he didn't have any record of me being over 65 (only recently, but it worked when booking tickets at Wembley), so I had to pay way over the odds.

I tried to ring back in to get my over-65 status sorted out, but gave up after another half-hour on hold.

I got through straight on line straight away. I clicked on the big blue bar that said Manchester City tickets and it said I wasn't eligible at this time. But up in the top right hand corner in account details it told me I had 3 seats reserved. I clicked on that and paid for them straight away with no problem.

The only thing that I will need to ensure is that it said there was a booking fee of £5.45 (or similar) but said there would be no fee for the members card. It charged me for this and I'll need to get that back off them as a refund. Watch out for that.

No concessions in East Stand Lower. My kids and Father in Law couldn't get them. Father in Law had to move to the Paxton.

Was he a ST holder in the same seat before turning 65 as I was under the impression that concessions were only offered in certain areas at WHL.

Ok, as you were. Just asked my Dad and it appears I’ve been chatting complete shit ( not for the first time I’m sure :cautious::D).

Only concessions were at Wembley.

Was a little disappointed that we were so limited with concessions after enjoying the Club Wembley this year at 40% of the normal price, last season I had to pay full price as my 65th birthday was well into the season. I kind of understand it from a commercial viewpoint and if I had been a season ticket holder for many years would be really, really upset though. Still I will see how it goes and hopefully for a while yet I can manage the stairs ... miss the escalators at Wembley already ... as long as I don't need to keep climbing up and down for food and toilets

I see the club is running free shuttle buses from Wood Green station and Alexandra Palace but you have to book a ticket. Will be interesting to hear how this goes

Which stand are you in? Have you asked if there are lifts? South stand has them not sure of the others.

I am in 514 row 4. I have a weird illness that comes and goes. For two years now I have been symptom free but the two years before that was really struggling. So right now I am fully fit but lazy!

Apologies if already covered but someone who went to the U18s game should be able to confirm... I know you can move freely between stands and levels once inside but can you enter the stadium by any gate? Ie: can you enter via the South if your seat is in the North and vice versa?

No. You have to enter at the gate your told at the right end of the ground.

Also, there were a couple of seemingly random places blocked off inside, forcing you to go up or down a floor to go around them.

Last 4 pages has some comments about the booking process etc. I’ve booked for Saturday (after a struggle), but I’m sure the real test will be a weeknight.
