You know a fair bit about this if it is the case. To re-wire the whole thing how long could you see it taking?
Well I guess I trouble shot network cabling issues a long time ago. Does that count?
From what I saw then, proper cabling guys are very tidy - creating works of art and it is a shame when you have to cut their cable ties and disturb patterns to move something. It is not in their nature to sabotage - I'm sure the original cabling looked lovely and tested OK.
But we are now told the circuits failed.

I'm more throwing ideas out there, in the hope that someone who knows more can confirm or shred the theories - I'm OK either way.
It just seems to me that the only thing that would have changed between the circuits working and failing - remembering that they are amongst the last things to be installed - is the stadium being powered up.
I just suggest the fire wires were too close the AC lines powering the cheesery paddles, aircon, etc.

Of course the snippets we are told could be wrong, but if we dismiss it all, there is nothing to write about.

The only reasons it would need completely rewiring is if the cable is not fire rated or doesnt have enough conductors in it and system has been wired wrong. Both highly unlikely. I call bs.

That’s not true at all. Fire cables can get twisted and damaged where the conductors inside get broken
This often happens when wiring fp 200 (fire alarm cable) through the bends on metal conduit

It’s still breaking the law and not something I would admit to in your position tbh
Not sure how that is breaking the law. It's 1 for every 50 workers. Flushing toilets are different and the HSe recommend 1 for every 7 site workers is a only a recommendation and based on the Toilets being emptied once a week. You can easily have less if emptied more frequently. The recommendation is to stop them over flowing.

I thought it was 1 toilet to every 12 people.
Whatever the law is I can tell you if you need a no 2 you usually have to wait 10 minuets or so to get a cubicle that stinks and is dirty because it’s in constant use and to top it off in one of the toilets there has been no hot water for at least 6 months.
Ask yourself if you would be happy to have these facilities at your work?

It’s over folks. Close the thread for 11 months ?

How many phone bets did they take though to suspend betting. The odds were 25/1 so how many bets would they accept before they felt they were suspicious?? Would contractors know the full situation over lets say Levy and the Directors of Mace/Base?? If this is the case and we definitely aren't playing there this season I would expect Tottenham to make an immediate announcement rather than be embarrassed again by the local rags.

Would anyone actually be surprised if we dont play there this season? Disappointed and likely angry? Yes. Surprised? I doubt it.

Anyway, its Friday so the time for a friday afternoon news dump is right around the corner. We’ll see what happens. But the line going from 25/1 to suspended betting in a matter of hours is certainly suspicious. You can discount it all you want but odds dont typically move from a long shot to suspended betting in a matter of hours unless there is something to it.

Knowing that risk, surely the cable would always be checked during installation with a meter?
And even if they didn't, surely these workers would have really gone out their way to have damaged half the wiring?
Surely these wiremen couldn't be that bad?

We're never going to know the full story, we just have to accept that I think.

In my opinion it's a consequence of hiring so many people and going for quantity of workers over quality, they probably took some people on face value and they ended up getting some who simply weren't very good at their jobs.
