Magnificent! I always liked the look of the cladding, combine that with the blue tiles, glass etc. Has character. Just like inside. Many on here don't like how the flow of the stands are broken by the south stand. That's what I love about it. I wanted something unique, that seperates us from 'template stadiums' like the Emirates. I guess we all have different tastes.

When people talk about the cost. Something rarely mentioned is the small fortune we are gonna make off 570 high end flats. Plus 50 serviced apartments in the hotel that I reckon will be close to £1m a pop.

With the seats starting to go in, is anyone else going to miss the classical amphitheatre style stone seating arrangements? Made it look like the coliseum...

I, as a wheelchair user these days, would like to apologise in advance, to anyone who might think that I'll spoil the aesthetics of THEIR lovely new single tier South Stand.

Really am sorry. ****'s :finger:

*SIGH* If you actually bothered to read any of the posts properly nobody has once said that WC users are not welcome in the south stand. In fact, quite the opposite has been said. The only question is whether the way they are arranged in a big single row across the whole stand was the best possible design. As @Saoirse says above, everybody has tried to express their views on this politely and sensitively, but unfortunately if you're determined to completely twist my words and resort to childish name calling without at least doing the common courtesy of reading people's posts properly before calling them "****s" then there's not a lot anybody can do.

Your'e right mate , must not spoil the look of the South Stand with so called huge gaps , maybe we should make it a rule that no one is allowed to leave early from a game in the South stand so that in the wall of sound we cannot see empty seats they must stay filled to the very end. If I see empty seats in the South from my my viewpoint in the north its going to spoil the whole game for me.

That’s assuming they all sell. There’s a lot of luxury flats sitting empty in London at the minute.

Imagine having a luxury flat right by the stadium stuff of dreams, even though it’s Tottenham ? . Wonder if it comes with a season ticket.

Yes there are a lot of empty flats in London. Most are actually owned as investments and tax breaks with the owners having no intention of them ever being occupied.

So the cost of the whole redevelopment is said to be about £800?

And assuming an average price of £350,000 for the high end flats that is nearly £200m.

That leaves £600m.

If the average cost of a ticket is £60 then we will get roughly £3.6m per Home game from ticket sales. 25 home games makes £90m. Let’s round that up for other misc match day income and a conservative (!) profit of £100m a year from the stadium.

If we can get a massive naming rights deal (300m?) then the stadium is paid off VERY quickly.

I feel like I’m missing something (I know in practice we will take longer but it gives an indicator of the financial burden associated with the project and the corresponding ability to spend on players...).

It looks and already feels like a proper football stadium from inside - you can tell it’s going to have character and a unique look and not be a soulless Emirates-style bowl.

The way this stadium dominates the skyline is amazing. From the North Circ it looks huge - 'Wembley huge' and from the top of the hill at Ally Pally it looks a monster. Certainly in a way that the old stadium never did.

I can imagine on nights when it is lit up, it will look fantastic. These nights though are going to have to be NFL games because for the football I'll be there and won't see it from afar!

Remember it also costs us money to have the game on e.g. paying staff and the like, so the 60 quid you pay for your ticket doesn't all go straight into the club's coffers
