Love that the shorts are of dark blue instead of the lighter one. If the 3rd is indeed the purple one then hope the shorts are not purple, although unlikely...just not a big fan of matching color kit.

It won't the shorts will be that silver/grey that runs through all the shirts.

I'm almost prepared to put money on it

Delighted with that third kit - I LOVED the simplicity of the 2010/11 third kit which was similar...

...plus it reminds me of the first kit I ever owned, this horrendous effort from 1995...

Not sure how I feel about the away kit, think it could be a grower though and I usually like sky blue. Not a fan of the home kit, I know it's pathetic but having red on the shirt doesn't sit well with me at all.

So what? You can go down the street sporting a bright pink mohawk, speedos and a clown's nose if you want to be unique, but you're not gonna look good . I'd rather we had a good kit than a terrible but unique one - even if it's just a 'template' kit, the uniqueness comes from the colours and the crest. For what it's worth I actually like this year's home kit and the potential third kit though - the away one on the other hand is absolute trash.

Looks great that. Did you just make up what you think the shorts and socks will be like? I like the shorts not sure if the socks should be purple though with white stripes

Yeah made up the shorts but socks are just home ones with a purple stripe instead of navy. I think it will be all purple like our last one was tho (that VDV pic above) altho our best purple kits had navy in them (early/mid 90s) so navy shorts could work too
