Not for us. I liked the look at him before his injury but he hasn't been the same since and Ben Davies has looked loads better.

Will move definitely and West Ham are a good bet IMO. Our name has just been thrown in for some clout.

Really liked Taylor before he broke his ankle and personally feel that he could be very good again but I would see Saints moving for him as a replacement for Luke Shaw when he inevitably leaves.

Would suit both parties nicely.

I have to say I think I would prefer Ben Davies but Taylor did look very good pre injury

would be an upgrade in Rose i think! tidy player & decent in defence too, that said Davies looks the better prospect but Taylor wouldn't be a bad purchase

Taylor was a very good left back before injury, but doesn't seem to be able to dislodge Davies now?

Would be a decent addition, BUT given that LB is the single most obvious weakness in our first XI, I'd prefer us to put a bit more into getting the best available.

Maybe with Rose stating (last year) that he would only stay if he is 1st choice and it being obvious that he isn't good enough to be, that we are looking for a home grown status back up to whoever we bring in as 1st choice and selling Rose on?

I don't know if this has been mentioned before:bored:

But he looked good before his injury but don't want him as he hasn't recaptured that form and dislodge ben davies

:bored:

He's gotta be better than Rose

Agree with getting him as backup LB, especially if we get a PL-untried LB to be first choice. Taylor might be a good option to have as back-up to ease the newbie in to the league.

Then Fryers can go out on loan to a PL team too, to gain experience

Sell Rose for 7mill
Buy Taylor for 3mill
Buy new LB for 15mill
Loan Zeki
DONE

Y'know, and I don't even think he's as shite as many tend to believe, and he is young and English, but I don't think anyone will pay that.

I wouldn't be surprised if after we bring in a new LB, Rose is still at the club (unless Sunderland ponies up).
