His book is everywhere here in Croatia, might buy it to see what he said about Tottenham, Redknapp, Levy etc.

Met him and had a chat with him once. Ironically on a bench outside a store in the south of france during the period when he was fighting for his transfer to Madrid

Nice Chap

The irony is that a remarkable number didn't enjoy him that much when he was here

Like Carrick, he was definitely a player some didn't really "get"

I think it goes to the that fact that at the time, English midfielders were predominantly either destroyers, or attackers

I used to hear/read so many complaints that he didn't score/assist enough.

I read a twatter argument the other day that claimed Bruno Fernandes is a much better player than Iniesta ever was, because he scores more:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I laughed and remembered I don't like twatter so turned it off.

He'd be the best midfielder in the league if he returned. Such a shame he's signed another extension with Madrid. He's one player I'll never ever tire of watching.
A perfectly weighted outside of the boot Luka pass is a joy to watch, especially when it carves apart an entire opposition team and the attacker doesn't even need to adjust their stride before plonking it asunder into the opposition net!

I remember so many people preferred Parker to him it was mental!
