I'm waiting SS57 ...

He was referring to your spelling of alluding as 'illuding' in another post.

Personally I don't really care too much about being a pedant on this site, but that's what he's referring to.

You really are desperate to be the new SC keyboard warrior aren't you?

Don't bother. Like I've said to you, you make some decent posts every now and then, but stop trying to call everyone out. You're out of your depth.

You do? It's not terribly evident, I have to say. But being informed about the subtleties of the English language by some dick who seemingly hasn't grasped the use (or indeed, the very existence) of apostrophes is mildly entertaining.

 My word, you're a spiky one, SpurSince57.

I really can't be fucked to search through the various threads that you've posted in...but it was either 'illuding' or 'illusive' that you said.

Like I say...I'm not a grammar nazi, but it was picked up by SS57 earlier, and that was what he was referring to. That answers your question.

if Rafa knows what he is doing instead, he must know that his fitness is average, and Redknapp was right to subs him so much last season, and even, he must criticism him for picking him in his starting XI, Not His tactic, because VDV makes any tactics poor vs those sides.

Like I said I was told this and the info comes from someone close to the players and I would be happy to tell any mod privately where it came from. I am not putting it out there to be called a bulls*****r
Please feel free to PM me, all information we receive is kept strictly confidential but if we are to support people who are posting information like this in good faith it helps if we know where the information comes from.

My general feeling is that at top clubs who operate with top players and I count Spurs amongst this elite group then players make teams.

All players can be coached and incorporated into systems, teams making players but at our level you adapt your tactics and systems to the players you are fortunate to attract, or bribe to play.

The Crouch 'something different' factor was ruined by the players overusing the long ball for which Crouch was unfairly blamed. His inept performances only made this worse.
Now that we have Adebayor we might find that byline runs by speedy wingers or overlapping fullbacks and traditional crosses into the box will pay greater dividends than before.

Coaching styles vary from club to club and from season to season.
It is pointless to try to impose the current fad or the manager's preference on any given group of players.

Modric and Van Der Vaart are head and shoulders above the rest of the team and the manager 's skill is adapting the tactics and squad around the standout players

He matched the bigger sides with wins against Arsenal, Liverpool, AC Milan and Inter Milan last season.
Have to admit I am glad Crouch has gone for this reason. YEs, it worked at times. Rafa might not have scored so many had it not been for Crouch, but the team might have scored a lot more. I hope to god Adebayor doesnt become our new Crouch..... lump it to man.
I am not convinced, yet, there is a hidden agenda by some to remove Harry from his post. That will likely happen by itself, either court case, England, or dare a say it, home defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal at home while picking up a point or 2 on the road.
2 from 8? Couldnt............ could it?

I hate these kinds of rumours because they exactly pander to one side or other of the argument re Harry and and add nothing to anyone's opinions.

There was a similar rumour during the TW from one of our ITK (RyanTegan?) which claimed some pro-Harry anti-Levy propaganda which of course many of the people rightly exasperated with this thread suddenly jumped on as evidence which backed up their agendas.

Anyway the good thing seems to be that most of us who are less than enamoured with 'Arry seem not to have got carried away with this.

My final comment is this, you'll never see a "pro-Harry" ITK posting something against their man and you'll equally never see an "anti-Harry" ITK offering a rumour which backs the manager. Funny that!

Incorrect - just maybe one 'side' or the other are trying to be rational as opposed to prejudicial. As such they base their opinions on what happens and not a preconceived bias.

Do you think there are no rational actors? Or is this a ploy by one 'side' to reduce the other to their level?

Six months ago:

"I love how Madrid play," Van der Vaart. "They are having a very good season. Mourinho is a coach who the players want to play for.

"Redknapp has a similar technique. They are very good, they know how to engage a group. Players want to win for them."

Four days ago:

"You never know in football what can happen, but I signed for four years and I have only been here one year," Van der Vaart told Voetbal International.

"I myself am sorry Tottenham are not in the Champions League, so I'm also responsible. I do not understand players who directly request a transfer if a club misses the Champions League. It is frustrating that we did not make it, because we were capable."
