Sounds like a rumour but i wouldn't rule it out. Some people are just as determined to defend 'arry as those who want him out.

These days I'm slowly moving towards the Harry out side of things, but even I can happily say that this is the most ridiculous pile of shite I have heard for a long long time!

I prefer not to lock it, if I do we'll be accused of over-zealous modding. The best way to get the thread out of sight is to stop posting in it, that way it slides off the front page in to oblivion - every time someone moans that it's rubbish or that the thread should be closed, boom there it is back at the top of page one again.

Even IF the rumour is true, is it tactically inept to play the long ball when the other midfield is completely dominating ours? Hitting Crouch and working for the second ball might have worked out, maybe that's why Defoe came on for the injured Lennon at 2-0 down.

Smell bullshit, but our midfield was awful. I don't think we hit Crouch enough in the first half for what it's worth too, but you usual suspects go ahead and tear into Harry there.

I heard Harry told VDV to hit Crouchie, so VDV went over and punched Crouch in the face. Crouch was so upset he said this would be the last we see him in a Spurs team. The rest as they say is history.

Our midfield was awful v man city, but this is thread about a massive rumour that started... in this thread. Like when the Sunday Sport do a story on 'Britney Spears naked pic shock' which turns out to be someone at the Sunday Sport photoshopping her head on some porn in a shockingly amateur way.

Boys, boys.
It's just a misunderstanding.
Harry was upset by Peter's ineptitude and was looking for a piece of
4'' by 2'' to whack him with.
Rafa misunderstood and after a quick consultation Crouch was on his way.

There's an easy explaination for everything if only you would be patient and look.

I have no idea if this is true or not, but It hardly sounds like the most implausible thing ever, especially on the back of the previous weeks in game tactics as well - where VDV was once again shuffled around to the detriment of the team.

It's not the first time there has been a bust up with Redknapp and players at half time without the media finding out immediately either, as it happened at Fulham when he tried to blame Hutton for Dawson's mess.

I would take this story more seriously if vdv wasn't depicted as a phonically-challenged Spanish waiter.

Certainly not implausible and interesting, too, that Rafa appeared to completely ignore Harry as he trudged past him.

Like I said I was told this and the info comes from someone close to the players and I would be happy to tell any mod privately where it came from. I am not putting it out there to be called a bulls*****r

No, he stated that they were virtually non existent.

Words which were taken out of context and then clarified- or in your eyes contradicted- by Luka Modric which put to bed the idea of Redknapp's tactical absenteeism even for the dumbest and most biased.

Or so we thought.

If anyone needs to work on tactics it's VDV. He dropped too deep last season and left our CF stranded.

The manager should instruct him to not drop so deep, if he continues to do so then act accordingly.
