Find the criticism from some quarters, such as Windy and Nathan Clark, as well as a terrible F365 piece, criticising Jose for sitting on a 1-0 lead to be utterly bizarre. We hit the frame of the goal 3 times FFS while Karl Darlow had a game for the ages. And this after we scored 5 last week.

Some people are obsessed with equating possession with performance to the exclusion of all else. It makes for a terrible analysis imo.
I wouldn’t get too upset over the views of those two nonces tbh. Windy is a fucking weirdo who follows the youth teams about religiously, constantly saying “oh this [enter obscure youth player] is going to make it big” only for them to be released the following year and Nathan Clarke masturbates to Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

Anybody who thinks we sat on our lead yesterday and were just trying to message home a 1-0 either didn’t watch the match or of a wanker. No other options provided ?
Yep, we just didn't score which means we weren't clinical enough, and their keeper played well.

Look at the stats. We dominated possession. Created loads of chances 23 shots to their 6. Loads of shots on target, 12. Only conceded 1 shot on target all match.

We played well. Conceded only due to a non foul free kick and the resultant bad handball rule.

We can cry. We can be upset. But on this occasion we can't blame Jose.

I'm still angry about the nonsense at the end but it felt like we had an actual plan and we looked very dangerous. So credit where it's due to jose.

No one should be giving 2 shits what bloggers think, they're just fans.

If we play like that more often than not this season I’ll be more than happy and he has my approval to stay another season if we don’t win a trophy. I have emailed Levy informing him of this.

First half we were brilliant.
As soon as Son went off, our level dropped.

I think we look pretty good but a CB and striker are key now for the season ahead. Jose is right in bis concern on volume of games. Hamstrings can twinge easily.

I'm less positive than most here . Yes we played well at home vs a poor team in poor form, but now we are going to play
more formidable opponents so a real test is coming and then we'll know how far we've come .

I still think it's an improvement. We made Norwich, the bottom team look like Barcelona at times last season. The fact that we've actually controlled a match against a lesser team in the Prem is progress as far as we're concerned.

F365 went down the tubes long, long ago. It used to be very good, but I think it got bought by some media company, and just became another series of clickbait puff pieces.

Edit: Ha, Sky bought it. Explains a great deal.

I just love Jose's reply to OGS who was having a pop at Jose's pointing out the goal size was wrong .
Jose' said that and I am paraphrasing " all Ole has to worry about is the size of the penalty area " a dig about the amount of penalty's united have and are still getting . I like a man who fights his corner whether its for himself or on behalf of the fans .

We can only base it on what we have seen so far and the signs are more positive. However, the second half wasn't great and the 1st half last week wasn't great but we def look better than we have and the amount of chances we created over the last two league games is encouraging.

These two clowns clearly have an agenda when it comes to Mourinho. Wouldn't pay attention to anything they have to say tbh.

It looks like Jose has done away with his wonky 3241 idea and is instead going back to a more traditional 4213. Yesterday we saw both our full backs stretching to full width of the pitch to try and open up the passing avenues into the front four. The goal came from such an occasion with Son dropping in and Kane taking up the wide position.

I was liking the 3241 though. Leeds seem to be playing it really well with a very dynamic central two, something that we don't have.

They’ve got it in for him and it’s boring. Unfollowed them a couple of months ago. Couldn’t listen to their drivel any longer.

If I wasn't all in on Jose before, I 100% am now. I will back the guy to the hilt after yesterday's bollocks.

There's always a turning point in a manager's reign where the team suffers some adverse bullshit and then everyone (well most people) gets behind him and pulls together, I guess this maybe it.

He clearly sat on the 1-0. The way he brought on Toby and went to 5 at the back just invited pressure. And instead of bringing on Bergwijn he brought on Reguilon and basically replaced Son with a full back ?. What message does that send out other than sit on this lead? And as for leaving Ndombele on the bench for the entire game -how can he do that after how he played on thursday?! Fucking Chelsea ***

Seeing as we're sticking the boot in, I have to say that Windy has managed to become one of the most irritating people on Spurs Twitter.

Hugely self serving, and only interested in confirming his own biases. He even managed to make the whole BLM thing about him at one point. It was quite something.

That's quite impressive, how on earth did he manage that?

Stuck his neck in support (fair enough), but then acted the martyr, thanking people for their support etc, when he inevtibably got a bit of stick about it.

I think he genuinely believed he was MLK for a day or two.
