I know Jose's copping some flak but you look at Utd and you wouldn't necessarily yearn for Solskjaer yet footballing wise they are playing on a different planet to us.

At some point, these supposed international footballers have to stand up and be counted and when they are failing to perform the basics of a simple 5 yard pass then let's call a spade a spade and say they aren't bloody good enough!
Man.u’s team is much better than ours and ole is a much more positive manager and is being helped by fergies old n.o2 mike phelan who is a genius.

only defender of ours who’d get in man.I’d team is possibly toby
id Argue not a single midfielder would currently make their team
And then there is kane who would obviously make their team so 2/11 of our players make their team.
We are a mid table team now and A fucking boring one at that

I was pro sacking Poch. And I was pro hiring Mou. I've defended Mou and stuck by him, believing that he's bound to make a change. Even after the recent matches against United and Sheff U I have maintained that point. But the belief have fainted and is now at a level similar to the belief I had in Poch pre sacking him. Sheff U have been cannon fodder before they met us. Everton was the most turgid match of football I have ever wathced, until todays match. How is it possible to not score against a Bournemouth side that has not had a clean sheet since november? The players are shit scared not to make a mistake. No one are taking risks. We have a midfield of Sissoko that is capable of only winning the ball, than returning it to a team player, and a Winks who only seem to have focus of high passing percentage, which makes him only pass backwards (even with good options higher up the field). We have the best long range passers in defence in Alderweireld and Dier, but both only pass the ball long when forced. We have one of the best midfielders in order to break press and get past press still retaining ball in Ndombele, but he is rearly played - and when played deployed as an ancor in midfield. We have some good driblers in Son, Kane and Bergwijn, but neither seem to want to take on an opponent. Attacking movement is focused on what will happen when we lose the ball, not on what can happen if we create. I get that defensive organization is good in order to get results, but clean sheets have never resulted in trophies. Goals scored do.

AVB’s team at least looked like they gave a shit even when it fell apart for him. Also, his plan of playing through one player involved one of the world’s most talented attackers with pace to burn and a wand of a left foot. Mourinho’s plan is playing through Serge Aurier who only became our starting right back because Kieran Trippier wanted to leave.

I'll hold my hands up and say I was in favour of his hiring.

I felt he had a good start but the injuries to Kane and Son were too much.

The break was to our advantage as it allowed our injured players to return. I had hoped Jose's experience would have helped us through these unprecedented times. He has clearly organised our defence better but attacking wise this is really dire. No passing and movement, no dominating the ball and no sign that even individual ability is being utilised fully.

He is a short term manager and he has done OK since taking over. Next season is his real test.

A lot of it is because they’re shackled by the tactics but they’re also just pretty average players

As I keep saying, when it comes to having to play on the front foot and break a team down we are struggling, as I feared would be the case. You cant always rely on counter attacks and fast transitions.

Individuals can be blamed, some will say they should work it out for themselves, but all teams have to have a framework as to how they go about their work. What is worked on in training during the week, the patterns of play, etc.

At the moment we just have nothing, 11 individuals going out there looking ponderous, making one-off passes with no purpose to help construct a move, no fluidity of movement, no interlinking play between a grouping of players. It's totally devoid of idea, bar shifting the ball right to Aurier to hammer a cross against the defender for the umpteenth time.

This is substandard planning, preparation, and coaching ultimately. Mourinho has to find the answers or this will keep happening.

It's incredibly worrying. Plus bar a couple of games (Burnley and Bournemouth at home) it's been a recurring theme since Mourinho has come in, and admittedly before that, but I'm not quite sure it's been to the degree that we've seen recently, where we're literally unable to build a meaningful attack.

The desire to focus on defence is no excuse for not being able to construct attacks.

I know we have problems with our team, and we need serious investment. But even if you don't rate Lamela, Lucas, Dele, Son etc etc, I refuse to believe we couldn't at least look a little better going forward. These players might not be RM, Liverpool, Barca quality, but they are not nearly as bad as our tactics make them look.

I do feel sorry for Jose to some degree, our team has been burnt out for a while, but saying that, he has done absolutely nothing tactically to even suggest an improvement going forward. Defensively, yes, he has fixed it a little. But going forward we are so lopsided, slow, unorganized and desperate. I could deal with the shit if I saw a hint of something positive. But this is I fear is beyond him. And really I think he was never going to be the right choice for us. My biggest fear is that I see no reality in which Levy fixes the situation he put us in.

I'm honestly surprised he 1, came to Spurs and 2, is hanging around. I'd honestly have thought he'd want to maintain his career success record - going to Spurs is never going to do that for you.

Win percentages down, going to be the only club he never wins a trophy with. I think he'll look back on his time here as the biggest mistake of his career.

I wasn’t surprised. He had no other options & we (apparently) offered him the sort of money it would usually take to poach a manager currently in one of Europe’s top jobs.

Thats the real scary part, I don't see an end in sight for this downward spiral. Kane is off in the next 13 months, I have little doubt about that. Ndombele off in the summer? We're getting worse literally every year. When does it end?

They are good enough, we've got top internationals all over the shop.

The reason Solskjaer is in a job is because the United fans got sick of this turgid shite from Jose.

See a pattern? The bloke is done at the highest level.

And this is why I’ve lost faith and love for this club. Levy and Jose combo have now in 6 months managed to suck all the life out of it that Poch put in over 5 years.

It's widely accepted (I think) that we have quite a few players that aren't good enough. Eventually, that'l bite you on the arse, no matter who is the manager. An ageing squad coupled with far too often buying second, third or sometimes possibly even fourth choice targets has come home to roost. Add to that the lengthy self imposed transfer ban during which we stagnated when we urgently needed freshening up and it tells a story of massive negligence.

One half of the actors in that whole sorry play has paid with his job. The other remains, buying up massive amounts of head wax.

It’s really really worrying. This isn’t about no top 4 we will be a bottom half team next season unless we sort this out

I wouldn’t be surprised if he walked in the summer. The rebuilding job is huge. We virtually need a whole new squad and have owners that won’t pay for one.
