According to our friends at the Sun, a glut of unnamed players are apparently already fed up with Maureen's training sessions and 'outdated' tactics. Likening training sessions to lower league coaching. With a focus on long balls and throw ins.

So, basically they are implying that our boys think they have regressed and that Jose is actually Tony Pulis in disguise.

Seriously? If an iota of that is true, then either Jose really has lost it or there are some real asshats in the squad who apparently make sport of getting managers fired.

Oddly enough... I googled douchbag, bitchy professional footballers and the first name that came up was some chap called Danny Rose. ?

Funnily enough, someone mentioned in the Danny Rose thread that the journo who's come out with this latest story, is the one and same journo that Rose went running when he decided to spill his guts last time.
Now, it might just be a coincidence, following recent events but...

The timing of this story is hilarious. Days after a supposed Rose fallout...not even subtle anymore.

Maybe they should realize that based off their performances over the past year or so, they should be focusing on the basics, since by and large they haven't executed those.

I'd like to think he knew what he was doing. Then again he could be such a complete nonce that he thought he was being sly. Either way, that article is divisive and unhelpful at a time when we need unity. So, uh... Great team spirit Danny. Fuckwit.

Danny will find out quickly just how ruthless Mourinho can be. The track record speaks for itself, if it really is Rose spouting shit to the media he will find himself in the reserves/ moved on to another club very quickly. And if its true, its exactly what he deserves given his last outburst during Poch's tenure.

yeah it’s written by the guy who did the expose with Rose a few years ago. What a couple of bellends. I wouldn’t be surprised if Rose was one of the players who threw Poch under the bus too.

I wish we’d just sack Rose, at this point we’d be saving money because even though we’d have to pay up just under £4m worth of his remaining contract, at least we’d not be wasting money on his medical treatment, training, nourishment and other such overheads. We get absolutely no return on investment from the little shit at this point. Might just be the end of his career, I doubt anybody would touch him that he deemed suitable.

As for the article, regrettably I read it and it’s basically just one long stream of cliches about Mourinho’s managerial style without any thought or substance.

I may be wrong but doesn't this particular journalist also have a history of "anti Mourinho" articles?

Oh no! The mighty spurs players, adorned with the many fruits of their triumphs, don’t like outdated Mourinho’s tactics! They’ll never win another trophy at this rate!

I'm afraid the lad just doesn't help himself. Prime example, first day of training and Jose is shouting "Danny Rose doesn't run". Rose has been poor for some time now and needs to go but if you can't even be bothered to show some effort on the new manager's first day of training then you don't deserve a chance.

It’s a fair comment, I guess, that some players are sick of Mourinho.

What’s also true, however, is that others such as Lamela, Lo Celso, Alderweireld, even Alli to a degree, have really found or rediscovered their form since he arrived.

Guess it’s a matter of attitude - some players want to be here, others need to leave.

Haven't read the article (avoiding that paper improves my happiness) the timing isn't great as the team actually passed it around quite nicely for periods last mayo.

If we get anything from this Mourinho era, I hope he completely rips this team apart and starts it all over again. Rotten to the core.

I’ve no doubt he will tbh.

He’s been held to ransom by a team before during his second stint at Chelsea, I don’t think he’ll suffer a bunch of fools way past their best

It's all reminiscent of the end of AVB / Beginning of the Pochettino era. A host of players that I'm quite frankly just fed up with. Just be gone and let the rebuild commence.
