I do agree with what he's saying, especially in the stadium. I think no game better encapsulated that than the Juventus game where Dybala scored twice and the atmosphere died. I always see Liverpool constantly mocked for being deluded but the way their fans rock that stadium and it makes me sick saying this but the way they rocked that stadium vs City, vs Barca and how their fans were in Istanbul is a huge difference maker. Our fans do certainly create an atmosphere of "here we go again".Just gonna leave this here, Michael Owen knows...
However at the weekend it was an empty stadium, so I don't think how the fans are can really be brought into it right now. I thought that we would probably benefit more than most with no fans in the stadium and maybe the fans would realise that at times we're a bit of a hindrance but you look at our results at home and that doesn't seem to be the case thus far.
