Mike Ashley >>> Gold and Sullivan

Its only down to racism or xenophobia that Gold and Sullivan and Brady get a pass, that and because of the Apprentice

Selling a young player lots of us hadn’t heard of for £20m and buying an experienced, capped PL defender who was part of a defence that kept the second most clean sheets last season with the money, seems a rather sensible decision when you sit back and think about it doesn’t it?

They had the third lowest amount of clean sheets last season (one less than us). I’m not saying he will make all the difference, but it will help.

There's a lot of players they could have sold before a highly rated youngster though. And this is what Moyes said a few months ago...

“I want it to be the vision for the club that we are looking to bring in young, attractive and hungry players who are saying: ‘We are going to make West Ham better.’ Whatever is said in the accounts, I am telling you what my vision is. I think if I get given the opportunity to do that, I will turn it around.”

I know a lot has changed due to the coronavirus, but selling their best young players is the total opposite of what he said he wants to do.

I remember Gab Marcotti saying it's a lot of money (fee/wages) for Anderson who blows hot occasionally but is generally lukewarm. Now they can't get rid.

A problem we'll never have :cautious:

How bad is that when your own club captain is basically slating the club.

Cringingly embarrassing.

So West Ham.

Banter club.

I hope they do an Amazon All or Nothing.

Narrated by Julian Clary.

“Karen Brady is at the training ground watching the youth team wash their balls...Gold and Sullivan argue over who’s sitting in the front of a Uber....Jack Sullivan struggles to get his message across to the ladies team

‘Fuck off Jack!’

And David Moyes descends into the seventh layer of hell.”

I'm probably being dumb here, but who is the victim of racism or xenophobia? I don't quite follow.

Mike Ashley, hes not a Geordie, I know its not a race but you get the point

Whereas gold and Sullivan are by far some of the shittest owners in the league pretty much playing with fire with the OS and yet they got so much more leeway because they are proper cockney lads and "one of their own"

The 'Appy 'Ammers fans were warned by various fans of Birmingham City that GSB were asset strippers.

In what world do Hammers fans give GSB a pass? I don't know of many or even any fans who are actually happy with them, they're just a little bit less mutinous than they were the day they stormed the OS after a loss a couple of years ago.
