As some of you know, I was recently involved in the set up of the new Tottenham Foodbank at the old Tottenham Town Hall.

Today we had a van load of food arrive from the training ground and this guy was in the passenger seat to help us unload, they also had the Amazon crew in tow.

Working in the charity sector in Haringey, I've been lucky enough to meet Ledley and now Jan (two of my all time favourites) and haven't been disappointed by either.

Apparently Jan supports Enfield Foodbank in his own time as well, having missed a Club Xmas Hospital visit one year due to illness he sought out another way to support the local community and came across the foodbank set up.

The club did us all proud today, the van set off from the training ground and headed to Enfield Foodbank before coming to us at the Town Hall.

Good work.

Does this mean you're going to be on the Amazon Doc?
Not sure to be honest, they were there in the background filming us unloading the van etc. Was having a good chat with the production guys afterwards, sounds like they really have had Access All Areas since they started at the Bayern game...

That's two posters met Jan this week. I must be unlucky, the only person I've ever met is Tim bloody Sherwood.
You really need to get out more if the only person you've ever met in real life is Tim Sherwood.

Please give us a through analysis of his body language. Be sure to extrapolate the analysis to explain the impact on his contract situation. Thanks

I did intend to forgo all professionalism to ask about the contract and as we chatted about training etc I was about to throw it in and we were interrupted by the PR guy asking for some more bags to carry inside.

So I failed.

He has a very London twang to his accent now which I found amusing.

Amazon guys were great, and I pressed them for as much info as possible about what they’ve witnessed and whilst they were guarded they let me know a bit. And I think I would’ve got more with more time

? he was fairly quiet, shy even? Wore a hood whilst outside so clearly not a fan of London weather, although his slight London twang suggests he’s comfortable enough here.

Was all a bit frantic but spent a few minutes chatting with him as we loaded up crates in the back of the van. He didn’t give much away, just said he’d come straight from training into the food bank run.

Clearly cares a lot about the local community, often loads up his car and heads to Enfield Food Bank apparently, we were told the team their know him quite well- possibly has helped out there once or twice?

Great stuff and top man. Really nice to see he’s giving back to the local community.

I met Jan around 5 years ago in Selfridges. Was walking back to the car park through the shoe section and saw him sitting down waiting for his wife to buy some shoes. Asked for a photo and he duly obliged. Didn’t want to badger him though as he was obviously out shopping. Top bloke though!

They said they started the night we got spanked by Bayern.

Said to me they think the fans were more upset about Poch going than the players

It was obvious something was wrong when you were at the training ground

They’ve been a lot busier recently.

Just kept saying how much has been going on recently and how the start of the process was quite depressing being so close to squad whilst results were so bad

Guy I spoke to most said Aurier is his favourite member of the squad, said he’s really nice and has an infectious personality
