Let's be honest, if we need funds then it doesn't make sense to hold on to a player who still "might" come good. Can't afford to keep waiting when the squad needs immediate improvements and every bit of cash generated helps. Best of luck to the lad.

Terrible decision.

Another young prospect we’ve let down, while Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Alli and Sanchez inexplicably remain.

I'm not seeing it that way - he wasn't great in the PL, and some players have looked amazing in La Liga and crap in the PL. I think some falsely assumed he'd be just as effective back here.

Dele and Dier, however poor they have been in the Kay couple of years, are young prospects who came in and performed seasoned professionals, top class ones, immediately, and did so for a number of seasons.

I’m sad to see Foyth go and feel we should’ve done better with him, but the above can’t be said about him and in fact despite having a good session under his belt, in the final v Utd he was still making the types of mistakes that prevented us ever giving him a real chance.

I hope he develops into a top player but two of the players you criticise us for showing too much loyalty banked a lot of credit before declining as very young players, this guy sadly did the opposite.
