I always suspected Robbie had that about him. I can see him being the type that won't piss around with trash-talk and peacocking and will just punch someone if they square up to him.

Not much to that story than what we already knew then :) And my pedantic side wants to remind O'Hara that Davids wasn't a loan signing...

This sounds a bit like a brain addled recollection of the time Jamie got laid out by Inter loanee Stephane Dalmat.

Keane wasn't like that on the pitch though. He avoided the physical side of the game. Would always want to talk his way out of any conflicts. Wouldn't shut up really. He usually had a running commentary with the ref.
But a lovely player, clearly enjoying the game.

If Keane did do this, then I imagine he assessed one of them was about to get thumped and it wasn't going to be him. Very out of character.

Maybe he was getting confused by the time Dalmat was in loan with us and gave him slaps lolz.

“I remember him giving it to Keano in training and they were having a barney, and I think he tried to step to Robbie Keane and say something – and Keano just sparked him, bosh!"

what language is that?

its Jamie O’Hara not bloody David Attenborough. Frankly we should be impressed that he strung a sentence with more than four words.

How has this become an article? I was listening to this when he said it, it was, literally, a thirty second conversation about hard-cases, Brazil referenced Super Ed, Hara said Keane was the real boss and retold the story in the briefest way possible, something like, "Yeah, Ed was acting flash, said something out of line and *pop* Keane just stuck one on him and put him down. Next day, Ed came into training like nothing had happened"

And that was it. How quiet a news day is it that Talksport have had to turn that single sentence into a fucking article? :D :D

Cockney. Even the rest of the UK struggle at times with it...

He always sticks up for us on talksport. Not many ex Spurs (actual Spurs fans) in the media.

Less detail than I already knew tbf.

If I recall correctly, Robbie was a boxer at a young level and so was very comparable to Mickey O'Neil in the situation.
