Just had a look on the OS and it says that GDS is in the Mexico squad for todays game but he hasnt even made the bench??

Niko hasnt even been included in Croatias squad for the international games and Modric is an unused sub in tonights game away at Malta.

why????

Absolutely shit game, makes the England game seem like Liverpool v Newcastle from all those years back.

Sorry to have to say it about my own country but the Euros would be better off without either of these sides.

If it's that then maybe the lad needs to see a shrink. Or just stick a dummy in his mouth and tell him to grow up.

Anyway it's probably got more to do with fitness than anything else...but it's one to watch.

 forgot about that, that legendary Graham Taylor Channel 4 documentary.

That's probably the last goal San Marino scored.

bud you could be right im just going by sky sports centre, it says giovani dos santos no.10

you are prob right - i assumed it was his brother as i thought GDS wore the number 17 shirt for his country normally! Suprised to see he was relegated to the bench never the less

Yeah it probably is

I remember that moment well as it was the first time I ever laughed out loud at a bad moment for the England team.

I wish it had been the last.

Kranjcar's injured. Pulled a groin vs. City. Will miss the Israel game as well.

Modric had a fever and was rested to ensure he's ready for Israel.

Missed the Footy last night. And Wales actually won a football match.

How did Parker do for England?

You really have to envy germany for their current football talents!

Having to decide between: Özil, Götze, Müller, Schürrle, Reus, Marin and Podoslki for 3 avable spots is surely a problem many national coaches would cry out for. Altough Podolski IMO shouldnt even be anymore in that competition considering the last months, but seems as if hes still one of Löws favourites.

Regarding Podolski, his international record is amazing but all the others players you listed bring more to the table than him and actually play well for their clubs.

I can understand Klose over Gomez partly because I've finally realised that Gomez is a very streaky player and that Klose is still a better fit for them upfront despite his age.

Remarkably, Scotland are leading 1-0 over Czech Republic after 66 minutes and could have had a second a moment ago.

Scotland robbed by two dodgy decisions. Penalty against them when no contact was made, then one at the other end where definitely some contact was made and the forward gets booked instead - the Dutch referee will have some questions to answer.

Phew! How Ireland didn't lose at least 4-0 I'll never know. It was like an FA Cup tie between a Premiership and League 2 team. Some heroic defending and great goalkeeping got us a draw. Dunne and Given the heroes once again.
