Apologies if this has already been covered but I have skipped to the end of the thread. I have been quite surprised by the backlash at the £15 per non televised game. In theory this was brought in so people who would usually attend the games can still watch despite it not being selected for TV. The cost of each game divided across a season ticket or if you were able to get tickets as a non season ticket holder for the game would be far higher. Plus food plus travel. I actually don't think £15 is unreasonable when you consider that has been the standard charge for pay per view boxing for the last 20 years and that could finish in 10 seconds as opposed to a guaranteed 90 minutes. Surely if you are paying say £60 average in the premier league for a premium game at the stadium then £15 to watch at home is a £45 saving with no travel and food on top.

Totally agree - it's all greed really and I'm actually quite hopeful that the introduction of PPV is going to start changing how it works.

With the subscription model you end up paying for a load of stuff you probably never use. If you don't like golf or cricket you can't choose to remove those things and save money. And you're still paying even during the summer or international breaks when there is no PL on, or for games where you aren't available to watch. It's how the whole system works... they get you in and you part with your money even if you aren't watching because there's no other option.

Something like NowTV does make it more accessible but I for one would like to see a more PPV model or a season ticket for just the games I want to watch. I definitely don't mind paying to watch but I don't like the idea of paying for stuff I have no interest in.

Out of interest, if you could change your own subscription so you got all Spurs games but literally nothing else (no other sports, no other football) for the same money do you think you would do it?

I'd sign up for that. It would be paying for what I want, rather than what someone else thinks I want.

Over 90% of ST holders can’t get an away allocation, and so wouldn’t have been able to watch non-televised away games. At least giving us the option (albeit an expensive option) to watch legally is a positive from pre-covid days when it was a choice of radio or piracy to watch away games.

Would love to know the viewing figures these games. Obviously we wont find out unless it leaks but also what the Premier league constitutes as a success viewing figure wise.

Sounds like they're waiting until 9th November when the government will discuss fans return in terms of extending PPV but the price point is going to be reviewed by the Premier League today apparently.

Just looking into how much, as someone that has no desire to be signing up for a TV/broadband etc. package subscription to Sky, BT or Virgin, it would cost me to watch all the Spurs games currently scheduled for TV... Two league games and two Europa games would cost me a minimum of £46.98.

So I reckon I'd happily pay £10 per match direct to the club.

I think will give spurs fans TV on you tube a go and watch with Simon and Ben who are the hosts .
If its a decent match i can still watch the main bits on MOTD 2 .
As a pensioner who struggles paying for my season ticket +sky + BT + amazon . if I pay any more money out to watch spurs I think my wife of 47 years will do me in . Enough is enough .

I am goign to my parents, my dad has BEIN sports so it should be on there but id have paid it.

I do think the club could have given Season Ticket holders access given they still have our money i.e. deposits and no doubt other credits - a bit of goodwill from them so to speak would not have gone amiss.

I would pay it though seeing as we are lucky with only two games being ppv but leaves a sour taste for sure.

Can I do it without a Sky subscription?

Yes. There's some info here...

It's only two games so far. They'll add more PPV games later in the season.

I've given my £15 to the Foodbank but I'm still going to pay to watch the game. Is Sky or BT better in terms of resolution/commentary/analysis or is the same feed that the PL give international broadcasters?
