ERISSIMUS MAXIMUS 1.30 Haydock, 2 points win 3/1 generally
Should be cherry ripe now after a couple of recent outings and looks primed for a big run on ground he loves. He showed signs last time out that he retains plenty of ability in a race that didn’t pan out for him on ground which was quicker than ideal. Having now dropped 10lbs below his last winning mark (may last year), with Oisen Murphy booked, and dropping down into a class 5 he should really be winning this with authority.

Nice shout on Patrick sarsfield which covered my bet in the last so good tipping! The last was crooked as anything though. Thosedays drifted to 5/1 on Betfair before the off yet somehow official odds stayed at about 5/2 or something. They clearly knew he wasn't winning and must be setting him up for a nice mark. Felix probably too good anyway but would've been nice for him to at least have had a go.
