Just got an email from the club informing me that I have won a competition I was automatically entered for when renewing my One Hotspur membership for a free guided tour around the stadium next weekend (13th-14th July) for me plus a guest. Said that there are 22 time slots for a 90 minute tour across the two days and they'll be allocated to 'winners' on a first come, first served basis.

Booked my slot and looking forward to the tour (I got to the new ground opening game against Palace in April but haven't been since), but just wanted to check if I've been a lucky-ish git on this occasion or has basically everyone who renewed a OH membership 'won' a not-real competition and it's just a way of drumming up interest in members to come see the stadium via a tour?

Send me your bank details and I'll find out for you.

Doing my stadium tour today, and as I walked through Bruce Castle Park who should I spot but @THFCSPURS19 and his mum.

Went in the First Team Dressing Room and our group all took seats while the guide talked to us. I sat in Foyth's 21 seat, and despite some sore temptation I managed to hold in the silent-but-deadly fart that had been brewing in my gut since having a chicken triple sandwich for lunch. So Juan - if you're reading this thread - you owe me one, buddy.

How was the tour? Heard a few people complain it was a bit crap and overpriced.

It was free for me because I won my tickets in a competition I never knew I had entered when renewing my OH+ Membership, so I thought it was excellent value... (albeit I gathered the regular price is £30ish, which is maybe about a tenner too much)

In terms of the tour itself it was pleasantly, if not jaw-droppingly, interesting and informative. Learnt, for instance, that first team players have heart rate and other monitors built into their boots (!!) for collecting live fitness stats during a game. And was great to see the dressing rooms/H-club/other areas that we plebs wouldn't normally get to see.

I'm off to NWHL tomorrow for a conference and a stadium tour, also get to meet a club legend, dieing to know who that's going to be, I'm hoping it's Ledley. Cannot wait to go round the new stadium.

Did the tour yesterday and really enjoyed it, west stand only. Apparently south stand will be included in a different tour to do with food/drink or something

Nightmare with the journey back though, overground shut due to heat and a bad accident on the high road so bus diversions etc

Was going to post some pics but they're too large to upload.

I’m guessing you were at the same IT conference as me and it was Clive Allen (I was hoping for Ledley as well).

Stadium tour was good but not great, I love the architecture of the stadium, walking out onto the pitch was cool as was the home dressing room. I’m not sure what I was expecting for it to be great, maybe a walk around the cockerel on the roof would have done the trick!

Strangely my favourite bit of the day was just sitting outside the H club enjoying the weather and soaking up the view of the pitch.

Mine was a birthday present but I loved it, great tour guide, sitting in the posh seats, home away changing rooms tunnel club, media centre, pitchside and being allowed to sit in the seats etc, take as many pics as you like. I'd recommend it to anyone

I'm disappointed that tour is of west stand only. I would particularly like to see the Pitch "roll in, roll out" system, the Sky bar (when open) and NFL dressing rooms etc in East stand. Hopefully these will be introduced at a later date.

I did a tour of White Hart Lane and was interested & amused by the difference between the home and away dressing rooms. The former were luxury and the latter were spartan. Is this still the case?
Also are they any larger seeing as they have to accommodate NFL teams?

There's a big difference between home and away dressing rooms, but the away dressing room is far nicer than most. The most amusing thing I found out from going on the tour is that there's no door to enter the away dressing room so in theory someone could listen in to what they said lol.

The NFL have dedicated 60-person dressing rooms in the new stadium which are on the other side of the stadium (east) to the football dressing room (west) A top NFL player said they were better than the facilities in the US stadiums.
