And he was arguably Inter's best CB in the last ten games or so last season. He was playing at RCB, which led Skriniar to the bench. We should be thankful for Godin, then?
Begs the question that if we sign Skriniar, who are Inter's CBs now? I honestly don't know.

de Vrij, Bastoni, Ranocchia, D'Ambrosio plays there in a 3 I think, Pirola is coming through and they love him - Conte would want to replace Skriniar with Kabak or the Fiorentina guy - guessing Pirola coming through is seen as the Godin replacement?

I only knew of de Vrij out of that lot

They seem well enough stocked that selling Skriniar shouldn't be a problem then.

Tbf I only knew anything about Godin, Ranocchia, Skriniar and de Vrij - but since we've been linked with Skriniar, I've been creepily looking at Inter fans on Twitter and their forums discussing what they're doing

I find the chavs selling Rudiger weird. He’s their best defender.

I don't get Lampard's defensive pecking order at all. Tomori was really good for a spell last autumn, then suddenly went back to fourth choice. He has persisted with Christensen and Zouma despite neither showing over time that they're good enough. Thiago Silva's obviously in now but how well will he adapt? How much use will he be on the pitch or will he mostly be a mentor or part time coach who gets occasional minutes?

I would've thought Rudiger, Tomori and Silva were the three that rotated between the two spots and the two that Lampard clearly has considered starters would be the two looking to be sold or loaned but it appears Lampard has the complete opposite view from what I have so what do I know.

Arsenal reportedly agree terms with Aouar. Can't lie he's a fantastic player. In possession, he profiles very very similarly to GLC, both elite ball progressers without an eye catching goals and assists output. Doesn't have the same aggression or defensive ability as gio off the ball. I'd say the best comparison have seen/found is Arthur who moved to juve this summer. More attack-minded ball progressers who aren't particularly strong defensively, but both who have played and succeeded in a 3 man midfield this past season. Enough worrying about them lot though, this season is ours.
