He was highly rated when he joined them, don't think he quite lived upto those expectations with Barcelona as Alves replacement but yeah probably Mendes influenced the fee.

Makes you realise that our asking price for Aurier isn't that bad, both similar age/experience.

Wolves must be running the Homegrown rule pretty close to the wire...
They can't fill out a 25 man squad of over 21s. Last I looked it up their PL squad was 19 or 20 and U21s filled in. U21s don't have to be registered in the PL regardless of nationality or homegrown status.

UEFAs rules are much stricter there.

Morata back at Juve (loan) and Suarez on his way to Atletico.

Morata is a strange one, doesn't fit in anywhere.

Except at Juve where he had a good enough spell for Real to use the buyback clause they had.

I think Italy is probably the league that suits him best and Nicky Bandini in the Guardian thinks he's a very good fit for the way Pirlo has said he wants to set up.

There’s a bit of a whiff about the biter’s move to Athletico:

Bit of a whiff about Chomp's move in general. They're investigating his Italian exam he sat to get citizenship for the Juve move, as it was allegedly pre-marked and he was fed the questions in advance or something.

Only time he's ever looked good. Be really gelled with that Juve team and couldn't recreate the form elsewhere. I think he'll do well with Dybala and Ronaldo. It's a pretty good front 3 with Artur supporting behind.

That shouldn’t be allowed. Any team that picks an XI without a single HG player in it should have the game forefeited and the 3 points awarded to the other side. No wonder England and the other home nations struggle with the amount of players to choose from.
Mate Coady is literally sat right there what more do you want?

Chelsea did it first in 1999, that ship sailed two decades ago.
