OK. this is from Bentley speaking to someone i know who defo knows and speaks to him. don't shoot the messenger but make of it what you will.

1) the players think ramos is crazy. he is holed up in his office most of the time and hardly takes training. bentley says that he has only spoken to him TWICE since joining.
2) the players are fed up with the diet. the strange protein shakes they take along make them feel ill. most importantly, they are not allowed to eat for 5 hours before a game which weakens them.
3) Poyet takes training with alvarez. Nothing tactical is ever done and the players cannot believe this. they never look at forthcoming opponents and study them.
4) players are baffled by the team selections as much as we are. ramos pops his head in, reads out the teams and buggers off.
5) poyet sides with the players and thinks ramos is crazy but is only hanging around because he feels the job will be his when ramos leaves.
6) players met levy on monday, led by ledley. they voiced concerns but levy said the board is sticking by ramos.

Other ITKs seem to be backing this up and others are going the other way.

If things are that desperate you would have thought Gus would have jumped when the Newcastle job came up.

Sounds about right to me.

Not eating within 3 hours or so is crazy talk.

I play at a Sunday League (yes, we have them here in America!) and I try to eat within a 2-3 hour timeframe prior to playing. If I eat 5 hours before I play, my energy is sapped within 30 minutes. I can easily go 90 if I eat about 3 hours beforehand.

At the same time, you have to assume he's been doing it this way in Spain and it worked there?

After seeing plenty of images and clips of Ramos on the training ground I choose not to believe the rest.

Shock horror as professional athletes are on Protein shakes!

They taste like normal milkshakes, and give you a huge energy boost. Their diet can't be too far of what pretty much all athletes put themselves through.

It probably doesn't mix well with the Thursday night Jaegerbombs at Faces.

Photo shoots can be (and usually are) staged, so I wouldn't read too much into that.

The bit I find hard to credit is the lack of work on tactics. I understood Ramos to be a blackboard manager.

Our problem is scoring and I don't blame ramos about it. We have domanted games on the pitch in everything else than scoring. Even last season we had scored 10 goals after 7 games, compared to this season 4 goals. Our problems are up front and maybe defense a little bit but scoring is what's our problem now.

Other ITKs seem to be backing this up and others are going the other way.

1) cant be true, he usually features in pictures of the team training dressed up in proper training gear and not a suit.. When Bentley signed ramos was his kind of man not acting like a mate, i wish the guy would let his football do the talking..

2) Utter BS, if that was the case im sure the medical staff would be reporting ramos to the authorities..

3) Assistants usually do take training and that is the case down Man U so im sure its the case down many clubs too.. They obviously do tactics as spain is notorious for that and most of the foreign players were complaining of the lack of tactics under jol and were instantly impressed by ramos's tactical attention.

4) Well I know ramos selects the team from effort he sees in training and thats fair enough as it shows people fighting for their places.

5) :bs: poyet will not be siding with the players after their shit performances..

6) Its well known the players met with the board on monday, but i doubt in was in an effort to remove ramos..

All in all this person seems like someone from the anti-ramos brigade and is trying to stir up shit in order to get more people in his fanclub..

Surely no chairman would put up with what would appear a lack of commitment from a manager - especially one on a big contract with a team bottom of the league. Then again i wouldnt have thought a chairman would sell any players unless suitable replacements had been brought in so who knows..

1) the players think ramos is crazy. he is holed up in his office most of the time and hardly takes training. bentley says that he has only spoken to him TWICE since joining. BS - several of these players said they joined because of ramos. OWF doesn't take training; Gullit didn't take training; Clough often didn't, etc A manager "manages" ie many things to do.
2) the players are fed up with the diet. the strange protein shakes they take along make them feel ill. most importantly, they are not allowed to eat for 5 hours before a game which weakens them. BS - they are not given fre reign over what they eat but the statement is so against sports/medical science as to be classed as drivel. We have many scientifically trianed coaching and medical staff - not Toshack -"eat bananas"
3) Poyet takes training with alvarez. Nothing tactical is ever done and the players cannot believe this. they never look at forthcoming opponents and study them. BS

The knives are being sharpened but from Traderspur on COYS (an agent I think)

Having been to the Lodge a few times this year in my capacity as an agent, I would comment that

1. Is at odds with what I have seen with my own eyes
2. Dont know about the first part, but the second part is only half true. The players are told to lay off "heavy" food 6 hours before the game.
3. At odds with what I have seen with my own eyes
4. Could be true - no way of me knowing
5. Could be true - no way of me knowing
6. Could be true, but another agent I just spoke to poured scorn on it
