Agreed, but we've clearly banked so much on using the stadium as a primary income stream, bet the house on our house, as it were. It would've been impossible to imagine that all that they've arranged, all the concerts, the NFL games, the Joshua fight - all that is up in smoke in a matter of weeks. Now we've got a vast, hugely expensive white elephant on our books with absolutely no way to fund it.

The debt is manageable over the long term, but the actual running costs of the stadium will be eating into our books like the virus itself. It's the nightmare scenario none at the club could have predicted or even thought possible.

I think our owners are so financially cautious that this isn't something we need to worry about. Yes, there will be ongoing costs associated with the stadium but I doubt they are significantly above and beyond those of other clubs. If we were on a shoestring I don't think we would have offered the stadium for NHS use for example.

If I remember correctly the bond payments are something like £5m per year with the first chunk not maturing for 15 years.... I could be wrong on those details but I remember being surprised at how manageable it all was.

And then looking at a post-C19 world I think we would be one of the clubs most able to raise money. We have been posting a profit for years and do have the huge revenue potential of the stadium (once things are back to normal) so I think we would look like a pretty safe option for investors should we need to go down that route. Lewis is there to back it all up if necessary, but I reckon the club will find ways to fund itself before it got to that point.

I am sure the Club will have Business Interruption insurance in place across the business but the inclusion Pandemic & Quarantine is not common and normally requires an extra layer of cover.

No he hasn't
Normal business interruption insurance does not cover a pandemic, and is very expensive.
BI basically covers loss of profits if your infrastructure (IT, buildings etc.) gets destroyed.

According to British Insurance spokesman there is only a handful of companies, with payouts of one billion pounds worth of insured claims, that had specific pandemic insurance.
The only Sporting event companies in UK that specifically had it were Wimbledon Tennis, and The Open Golf Championships.

Plus if we're making progress on the naming rights as has been suggested, the picture looks even more positive.

The stadium is going to provide a large amount of revenue over a long period of time. This current situation is difficult and yes, there are economic difficulties ahead for the country but there is no reason not to feel optimistic.

I'd doubt it; logic would say acts from overseas wouldn't be allowed until mass global vaccinations have happened, if it gets replaced you'd have thought it'd be UK acts only.

Tend to agree, I purchased tickets for last June's concert for my sons birthday and have heard nothing from ticketmaster.
