Oh and with regards to our singing
"When the Spurs go marching in" just before full time was the best I've ever heard it

the steward was soo funny!

the Spammers were signing. "two pounds, you earn two pounds an hour, you earn two pounds an hour!"

the steward then stuck his hand at them with all his fingers up, suggesting that he earns 5 quid an hour!!! was sooo funny!

Was that Sugar Puff Teeth?...

Spammers were singing Stand up if you hate Tottenham just as Berbs scored the first, which amused me...

Nightgoat, you must sit right by me, we started that chant last year! Bless him, he tries to fit in with the fans but just comes across as slightly retarded.

For the record, i did hear a couple of boos in the toilet when the teams were announced before the game, but, and i especially listened out for any, there were no boos to be heard anywhere near PL when he came on. And if anyone had've, they would be an absolute disgrace to Spurs.

That steward gets on me goat, he's always charging up and down park lane annoying us about sitting down, we just ignore him, but I have to admit a part of me did find it funny that the spammers were giving him shit. If he looses his job that'd be great. Feel guilty now.

Is that the one who looks like a rat and seems slightly retarded? We always have a laugh with him, he thinks he's a stand up comic!

I heard that VERY loudly over the stream and then highlights, but the best I've heard any chanting was at the 5-1 :-D

Captured that on camera phone i think just before we scored again, in fact twice i was trying to get that chant on video and ended up recording 2 goals one at each end

I don't think anyone can difinitively say one way or another unless they themselves actually booed him 'cos the acoustics of a football stadium are so weird that a small amount of noise near you often drowns out a loud noise somewhere else in the ground and anyway the noise is supposed to be directed onto the pitch not around the stands. Where I am in the middle of what was the Shelf I didn't hear any booing just a few expressions of a bit of surprise / disappointment which Gilberto couldn't possibly have heard when we realised who was coming on.

No booing near me, though couple of groans when he and Chimbo messed up one time.
Then a lot of relief when the 3rd went in so then he was cheered very loudly!

Likewise - I didn't hear booing, but there was some exasperation and groans with Gilberto's first few touches. I definitely heard a very big cheer after that and suspect that Gilberto will do just fine.

If theye put in, they should be cheered, applauded & supported, win lose or draw...regardless of their ability. If its not the right person for the job, then its the managers problem.

Simple as that

no booing, although I told Boateng (warming up in front of us) to spend more time practising his passing and tackling rather than faff about with his hair (my language may have been stronger). He was getting mercilessly ripped by the Spammers - and deservedly so.

Having said that I think the boy has potential.
