Over the last 10 years Sevilla showing a profit on transfer dealings, most ever spent on a player £22.5 million and they win four Europa Leagues , maybe not the Holy Grail of a CL win or domestic title but a fantastic record.

PS. In that 10 years they have been through 10 managers !!

He gave us 6 years service and was one of our best players in the Poch era, I find some Spurs fans treatment towards him disgusting seeing as I don't see the same energy towards the likes of Bale, Berbatov or Keane when they practically forced their way out when they wanted to leave.

Sort your head out.

Fantastic player and was superb for us but I do have big doubts about his mentality in these really big occasions. Was invisible last year. Yes, he was on his way out but there's been plenty of players over the years who knew they were leaving a club but still produced on the day.

I think he has a tendency to hide.
Tough to shine when you're on for the last 15 and you look up and no one is on! Not an Eriksen fanboy, but harsh judging him on the game and the impact he had/didn't have.

True, harsh to judge on 15 alone I agree

I agree that treatment towards him is abit unfair, but he wasn't really here for his last year, as soon as he made up his mind about not signing a new deal he started hiding on the pitch. Berbatov and Bale left for massive clubs winning titles for fun, Bale left for a world record fee whereas Eriksen left for peanuts to an Inter Milan side that last won a title 10 years ish ago and was quoted doing so because he was far more likely to win a title there some 6 months after being in the final of the biggest club competition with us. I don't get the hate thrown towards him but I sure as hell won't cheer on Inter Milan for him to win a trophy either. I guess alot of people actually thought he would sign a new deal with us when we invested heavily in midfield this summer getting both Ndombele and Lo Celso whom were both highly rated and on the back of being in the Champions League final.

Absolutely delighted to see Inter lose that. Well done to Sevilla. Amazing how much they've bossed this competition.

Conte is a collossal bellend.

Club buys him about 10 players for huge amounts of money and he continuously slags them off for not supporting him.
Second he loses the final he says 'he might not be inter manager next season'.

Just such a whiny, entitled arsehole. No doubt he's a winner but such a charmless ****.

He used to be so respected in Italy with his achievements at Juve as a player. Even as a manager he reinvigorated Juventus and made them a good side again. He's let it all go to his head now and thinks he's god's gift to football.

It was evident he wasn't going to sign a new deal when he said that he wanted a new challenge after the CL final so the expectation was that when not if he was going to leave.

It seems like you are trying to justify the favourable treatment towards Berbatov and Bale because they went to 'massive clubs'? Berbatov kicked up a stink and his head dropped in pre season because he didn't want to be at Spurs, he signed for a league rival, why does he gets bly? Bale stopped training and forced his way out of the club. Keane sneakily engineered himself the Liverpool move. What Eriksen did isn't as bad as how these guys behaved when they wanted to leave so I don't understand the hate?

What Eriksen said about having a better chance to win trophies at Inter is true, I don't see why it's so controversial, they have the 2nd highest budget in Italy, they finished a point behind Juve and reached a final - it's justified as opposed to what we did this season...

I just think it's unnecessary bitterness from us and makes us look ungrateful and petty. Honestly so what if his head dropped in that final year, does that somehow eradicate the previous 5 seasons, some fans have very selective memories it seems.

Eriksen haha haha

Christian Eriksen: "Winning is one of the reasons I’m here (Inter). Compared to where I was before (Tottenham), there are more chances of winning here."
Not that they won but say they did When you’re only Playing 10mins in games could you really call yourself a “winner”

I don't get this concept of "service". It is not like he didn't go to Barcelona when he joined us, because he wanted to do us a favour first.

And I don't think you examples are all that comparable. Eriksen went from a CL finalist to Inter. The others went from a worse version of Spurs to a much bigger club than Inter (maybe with the exception of Keane at the time).

Even so the biggest issue I have with Eriksen is his %#&#% lack of professionalism for the last half a season he played for us. If he had given it his all then fine. I have 0 issues with Carrick. Even Modric after that crazy summer played well in his last season for us. Eriksen didn't. Not that I care much, but I admit I'm glad Inter didn't win as without Eriksen I would not care at all between those two teams. Let's say 50/50. With Eriksen it isn't 100/0, but let's say 51/49. And I expect quite a few Spursfans to feel that way without necessarily "hating" him (certainly some of those as well, but I doubt there is really that many).

Whilst I agree with what you say, one of our suppliers in Italy is an Inter fan. We have a laugh about football a bit via email in his rather bad google translate English. The other day I got an email about something else and he ended it “p.s Eriksen is not a good player......,,”, it did make me chuckle a bit.

Are Sevilla in the EL next season?

If so I think we should just try and win the Premier League instead. Probably easier.

Winners of the EL go into the champions League. They could still get knocked out and potentially come down to EL
