Dele Alli has attributed Tottenham’s latest defeat to Manchester United to a lack of hunger and “arrogance” from his team-mates. Spurs suffered a 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford on Wednesday night in their third outing under Jose Mourinho’s stewardship.

Agree completely with this, too many players believing they’re own hype (like last season) even though they’ve achieved nothing. Kane is a prime example, strolling around doing nothing unless a chance is handed on a plate.

They out fought us, and we didn’t out think them!

I think if had used our experience we would have smashed them, no game management, we should have picked them off and not given them two gifts!

Maybe finally the penny has dropped. We've been this way for far too long. If someone "wants it" more than us they will roll us over. This has been the case for far too long. It's why, historically and currentl, we lose shit games against the likes of Burnley or West Brom. Or now Man Utd. This is the worst United team in 30 years, and they beat us comfortably because they turned up wanting to win.

What also doesn't help is having absolute liabilities like Aurier, Sissoko and Gazzaniga. Too many weak links = no points.

United played very well, strong pressing, pinpoint passing, swarming around second balls and targeting Aurier.

As a minimum we should have been looking to match them on the pressing, closing down and battling for second balls. I'd have taken that, even if we did end up losing. We put in an absolute gutless performance. Aside from Dele every single player on the pitch for us should be embarrassed by the "performance" they put in.

Arrogance has been a problem with some of our players for a few years now.

It came out the most when Billic's West Ham beat us 1-0 in the 2016/17 season. That result came off the back of beating Arsenal 2-0 and we just turned up expecting to win. The loss ruined any chance of us catching Chelsea.

I don't need to list the obvious ones, but I feel this list includes fan favourites like Kane.

Nonsense we picked up 36 points from 36 in that period, that's nothing to do with having a poor mentality.
