Ally Gold hasn’t been clear recently but looking at his latest article, I do think Doherty counts as homegrown for EL.

Think Rodon will be fine as well. Swansea, Cardiff etc switched their registration from the Welsh FA to the English FA in 2012 to avoid this problem (otherwise they'd need 8 Welsh trained players in their squad if they wanted the full 25 if they qualified for Europe) but IIRC it happened 1 year too late for Davies to count as homegrown.

I'm still not completely convinced regarding him to be fair, despite how many on here rate him. Although I do admit to needing to watch him a bit more to come to completely accurate assessment of him.

He’s a big player for them. Having sold Ake and Wilson they might not need to sell further to survive so can likely hold out for a higher fee now.
