Also you're from London/Watford... If you to go up to Burnley, or any Lancashire/West Yorkshire town you'll be surprised.

Toughest place I worked was this outlet warehouse on a Gosforth industrial estate... not because the work was hard, but because everyone working there was beyond casually racist. Darkie's, Paki's, Chinky's etc etc etc. Hideously backwards, and genuinely astonished that I wasn't, to the point of distrust. That was 12/13 years ago. I doubt much has changed, and in fact with today's climate likely to have reversed further.

I grew up in Enfield and was called a paki on a daily basis even though I'm not Asian and I don't look Asian in the slightest. But everyone else in my class was clearly white and English. So it's not something that's isolated to the north of England

The minor is now under investigation by the Metropolitan Police, with help from Lancashire Police and the two clubs.
Without knowing what the gesture was, or how often he made it, or if he was warned about his behaviour first or a number of times, I still suggest this is an over reaction against a young boy. He is not a 50 year old chelsea fan.

Of course no-one has a leg to stand on if they are ejected from the ground - it is private property - and if other fans were blocking the action of the stewards, they were lucky not to get thrown out too.
