Matuidi, rabiot, ramsey, arthur melo (rabiot, arthur poch wanted both of them at spurs) seems like a good midfield ... Add khedira albeit aging, defender like de ligt, attackers like douglas costa and dybala,
Fullbacks like Alex Sandro, de sciglo (both of them were linked with spurs during poch time) - that is good team to work with for poch..

And on top of that a goalscorer like cr7 !!!

Matuidi old and not so good anymore, Rabiot inconsistent, Ramsey has been a flop, Arthur we will see he was a bit overweight at Barca, Khedira is finished

The midfield has no creativity, if you watch the Juve games you will see that.

Fullback positionins also weak. Se Sciglio very average and Alex Sandro hasn’t played that well for 2 seasons now. At RB they have Cuadrado who isn’t a RB and a very average Danilo

Paratici (the Sporting director) has done a terrible job in signing midfielders and defenders.

Anyways Pirlo officially their manager so will see how he handles the midfield and fullback situation

Pochettino has openly said he wants to manage Juve in the past due to his family ties, is currently available with a great reputation, and Juve have hired Pirlo who has no experience whatsoever l.

Someone close this ffs

Are you not intrigued to see where he goes next?

Do the top teams still want him or will his next job be at a lower level. I think some chairmen at the top clubs may look at his time with us and the failing to win a trophy and are put off despite him being a fabulous manager.

Personally I like seeing former players becoming managers, especially legends like Pirlo. Best of luck to him.

I don't care honestly. There is a weird obsession with him over the actual football club

Poch to Juve is very very likely to happen. I recall an interview he did a few years back before we played them, where he seemed proud to mention that his family originated from Turin along with his surname. He obviously values the place in high regard so if Juve place him at the top of their list then I think the job is his

That's not 100% true. 80% of people here in Argentina have Italian roots; I don't think he'd choose Juventus just for that, it's hardly strange to find an Argentinian with none Italian ancestry, but how many players are playing in Italy because of that? No one. They play there because of the facilities of having an Italian passport; just for that. If you ask to any player, all of them would be glad to play in the Premier League.

Poch wants to stay in the UK but, of course, if no team calls him, he'll go to another league.

Good to know.

In any case, my post aged well with Pirlo being announced hours later! I thought Poch was a cert to go there - where he ends up now is anyone's guess

Oh I don’t disagree, I’m just implying that maybe in football circles Pochettino is no longer held in the esteem he once was.

He left it open for sure.

But, bullet dodged for Poch. Wouldn't have fit in, would have the same problems as Sarri.

It's nice to see some legendary players become coaches, Inzaghi is doing very well, Gattuso is doing ok etc. Pirlo had the best football brain out of them, let's see if it will transition to coaching.
Inzaghi has taken a good amount of time to 'turn good'. Gattuso has actually done very well. In Italy big teams have always given opportunities to young coaches and that's part of the reason they produce so many talented managers. Thing is manager turnover has always been super high, so it's hardly a surprise.

I hope Poch lands a good job, but Juve was never the right fit.

Maybe Pochettino already has a job lined up and agreed.
Bigger than Juventus?

I love the guy and have never enjoyed Spurs more than in his time, but I don’t think it’s outlandish to suggest that his reputation is probably not quite what it was after his third and even fourth season at the club, whatever mitigation there is for where it went wrong.

I have no idea and it's got absolutely nothing to do with it. If he's agreed a job then he's agreed a job.
Until he’s at a club posing with a scarf over his head, nothing is final surely? Say he’s agreed a job but another manager is still in place, surely that’s not impossible to back out of? As if it were then surely the current incumbent could take said club to the cleaners over fulfilling every remaining contractual penny owed?

And if it’s a club currently without a manager, surely it’d have been announced, no?

Im always interested to see what our exmanagers do in their next jobs. It’s no different to when Ramos, AVB, Sherwood, Redknapp and Jol left. I was interested to see what happened to them next. None of them went on to greatness and in most cases averageness.

Perhaps he's got another job.

It's possible.
