He's not in any rush to get a job now. There will be big jobs available before the start of next season and he'll be in a great position to take one of them
Namely a certain club in Spain that has been chasing him for the better part of 3 years.

Concur with this. Latest TFS Euro pod suggested that Tuchel could leave PSG and go to Bayern (Rummenigge is a big fan). PSG would be huge draw for Poch. Madrid could also be in play.

Tuchel to Munich, Poch to PSG I agree. Poch needs to win and win fast, at Paris that is guaranteed.
Exactly. Got links with the club, albeit brief. Gets the "never won anything" monkey off his back with PSG cantering to the league title each season with owners who have been bitten by the huge ego player route and then he'll have his choice of the Real Madrids etc with a bit of weight behind him which is crucial when dealing with the dressing rooms of the established super clubs.

such a lazy stick to beat him with. Over the last 5 years who has won trophies? It’s prob about 3 teams. Teams that have spent hundreds of millions (take out Leicester as that’s the biggest sporting fluke of a generation).

I partly agree. Although Man U, Man C, Chelsea and Liverpool have all won trophies in the last 5 years and we were probably better than all of them for at least a year or two. We missed some golden opportunities to win a trophy during that time.

and I agree. But this banging on re “what’s he won” is tedious. Considering the tiny % of clubs that have won and relative budgets.

The trophies thing is so tedious and banal. We of all football supporters should appreciate this.

No, Poch didn't win owt with us. But then only, what, 6 managers have in our post-war history? 2 of which include George Graham and Juande bloody Ramos. Give him a job at Man City or PSG and of course he's going to win something then. But I love Poch as a coach and a person, and the journey he had with us.

Yes, Jose has won the lot. But then, he won them at clubs that always win things anyway. Roberto Di-fuckin-Matteo won a CL with Chelsea ffs. There's a good chance he won't win owt here, because... well... we're not a club that wins things often. But I like him, not because of those trophies, but because he's committed to his club and players while he's there, because his knowledge of the game is fascinating and he's not afraid to try things, and because he learned at the side of Bobby Robson.

Never mind the trophies. Embrace the football.

Time to move on people, I know most of us loved him but who cares where he goes next.

Find it strange that people can't entertain the idea that people might be interested what our ex-manager might do next tbh as if we live in a vacuum where we can only focus on current spurs.
