For all those slagging Levy, this is the right call. Season still salvageable now.

100% right call

There was nothing positive out there in months in terms of development.

Players look completely lost and regressing. We need new input. Someone who brings the best out of this good squad again.

One bad season and he's sacked, what a disgrace.

My thoughts exactly.

There's only one person to blame for the position we're on but he can't fire himself. Once we go back to struggling to get into the top four every year and Kane decides he's had enough, all those people who called for poch to be sacked will soon not be heard anywhere.

And if anyone thinks Mourinho is the answer, look at the state he left Chelsea and United in. Any young player at spurs must be dreading the possibility given his disdain for young players he's shown in previous jobs.

I was really hoping Poch would be able to turn things around but I guess the reality was that it would have been too much a bigger task with the apparent number of players not playing for him.

A sad day in our recent history...thanks Poch for the great memories - all the best at your next club!

This never, ever would or should have happened had Levy and Enic given him the proper backing these past 2 - 2,5 years. It's time for Enic to cash out and fuck off once and for all.

I'm not sure if he would have, but he deserved more time to turn things around.

Back into the doldrums if we don't get the next man right.

Needed to happen after our poor performances and results over the last 10 months

But still gutted it’s ended this way, would have loved Poch to have turned things around.

It’s not that he’s having a bad season, it’s how uninterested the players look under him and ITK rumours players aren’t happy with him anymore,

Sometimes managers just go stale, it’s sad as for 5 years we’ve had stability and a manager we loved but it’s clear something needed to change.

We know from ValenciaYid that there was a not inconsiderable anti-Poch faction within the club since the start of the season and we know from Trix (or his agent contacts) not inconsiderable player disaffection.

Those are powerful forces to have working against you.

And not necessarily good forces for incoming manager to work with/against.

Interesting times...
@johnspurs why is this "spam"? It's factual and I'm not expressing an opinion either way other than it being interesting times...

I was sad initially but now I feel excited at the prospect of us actually

It's been a year of shite served up salvaged only by the run in the CL that was more down to individual brilliance than team performance.

Gutted! Really didn't think he'd be gone before the end of the season.

Thanks Poch, did great things for the club. And not winning a trophy, shouldn't take anything away from the great work you've done.

Club better have a good idea of where they're going next.

Turned us from a UFEA League club to challenging for Prem and CL. Gutted it ended like this. Levy better have something amazing up his sleeve! If its Jose I'm done with football for a while. Negative anti football.

I've been Poch out, but this is gut wrenching. Aboslutely horrible that it has ended like this.

I've also been Poch out, but this is heartbreaking. =/

I wish him the best and hope he wins something with his next club (not if it's Man U).

Edit: But the timing of the decision is really weird.

Gutting but it was time...I think it was you who said earlier we should get a manger in now who can assess the team ready for next season...maybe salvaging the season along the way.
