What do you expect Mou to do?

Most our defense is passed it or not good enough (our fb options are Davies, Tanganga and Aurier)! Lucas is a very limited player, yet has to be our main forward due to injuries. Ndombele can't be trusted in midfield. Alli's been way off the required standard for two seasons now and Lamela sadly can't stay fit for more than a few games.

There's a reason we've been in relegation form for a year. Mourinho know's the players not good enough so he hope us sitting deep can produce some results (and it has).

Major rebuild needed.

Its not just about whether you win or not, its how you play.
You can lose but play well. You can lose to the better team and take it. You can even be the best team and lose but still take something from it.
We look shit.
We looked shit with Kane. We look shit without Kane.
We looked shit with Son. We look shit without Son.
We look a disjointed, shambles of shit.
We all want us to do well, of course we do but you can lose but still look like a team.
We do not.
Norwich for example are foot of the table but they are a team. They give 100%, you can see every player knows what they are supposed to be doing and they do as well as they can. They are just not good enough to compete.
We do not. We look totally disorganised.
Thats down to the coach.

Does anybody actually remember Poch's first season? Taking over from a squad with a lot of issues at the time, and trying to integrate a pretty large number of new players? It wasn't brilliant, we didn't finish anywhere close to 4th, we didn't win a trophy, we didn't play fantastically all the time. And he had the fortune of a world-class, highly mature and dedicated striker breaking through. Mourinho has only been here four months. It's way, way too early to judge whether he'll be a success or not.

Comparing Parrott to Haaland is like questioning why Kane is so shit and not winning Ballon d'Or at his current age compared to Ronaldo.

Surely Troy Parrott has to be given a chance up front. If he doesn't come off well so be it but the team can't carry on with either Lucas or Dele as fill in strikers. Guy called Kane looked very raw when he first started but showed what he could do, got better and better and now he's a 20 goal a season striker.

Yes, we do have problems. Namely, the last manager decided we didn't need any form of backup striker. The only alternative to Aurier were central mids - he was the most attacking sub we had left. How you can blame that on Mourinho after a single transfer window is beyond me.

I think you can admit Mourinho got it wrong today without having to strawman the point into something else just to fit in whatever preconceived thought you wanted to share

Yep - I was watching Mitrivic (sp) for Fulham yesterday and he would be excellent for us. Not rocket science is it
It really isn't, but Lord Levy seems to make it so. I know Mitro was not going to sign in January but this should have been prepared for long ago

Found Lo Celso so frustrating today, wanted way too much time on the ball

It seems to be a recurring theme with a number of them at present. I wonder if it’s because they all have a distinct lack of confidence in their team mates, that they decide to hang onto it longer. It’s also happening with Bergwijn, Moura, Winks, Ndombele and Alli.

Or maybe we’re just fucked and that’s all they can do!

Lol that challenge stinks more every time they show it. Clear as day red card.
Yeah same with Cantwell on Lo Celso or Robertson on Tanaga - don't remember the fuss being made over either of those as much as this ... If he gets retrospectively band, it's a fix.

Cut & paste comment from midweek.

Under investment in the squad has caused our issues. No striker = dramatic decrease in goals = much harder to win matches.

Kane was one of the most dedicated youngsters we've had, training harder than anyone else, showing huge amounts of maturity. Parrott is flying to Dubai to introduce Dele to the son of a drug cartel boss, and reportedly whacking his dick in his teammates faces on international duty. You're very, very lucky if you get a Kane once in a generation and Parrott is absolutely not the same thing.

Missing out on Europe would be 100 million pounds of lost revenue in comparison to last season. Where is the money going to come from to purchase the 5-6 players everyone is calling for here? No Europe might sound good in theory, but it's a guarantee of austerity, a subsequently angry Mourinho, and another horrific season that likely leads to a mass exodus the following season.
We reached the title last year so you can half that and some might be pulled back from s run in the Europa alternatively it may offer us a better position in the league and the cup of course. It's quite as simple as numbers on a bookkeeper's ledger.
Either way I think now we've lost Son in top of Kane the odds of CL are against us.
