This VAR thing is ridiculous, assuming the VAR official is watching the game then there must be more rando nerds watching it back for 20 minutes deciding for themselves

Oh well, I will argue that playing your kids is an option. If your players are dead and they are probably not going to make any impact, then play Parrott, Skipp and others who want to prove themselves on the biggest stage.
Kids with little to no experience and zero match fitness aren't the immediate answer either. There isn't a holy grail. We've been poory managed for a while one way or another whether you want to blame Poch or Levy (I don't think either are faultless). It's going to take a while.

If Jose really is refusing to play Parrott after this then I'm pretty much done. I don't care if you don't think he's ready Jose, he can't be worse than some of the players on show today.
Sorry but this is just ridiculously unbelievable. So many times we refused to trust the manager until he's gone. And many times we are the ones proven wrong.

And how had Parrott proves he can be the one?

Do you mean that in a critical sense regarding us or that you generally can't without a striker? Because we were playing like this even with Kane....
We won a few games with Kane playing scoring goals, didn't we? Like Sonny last week? Focal point. You can't win football matches without a striker.

Load of idiots spouting rubbish. We had no strikers and playing less than 60 plus hours ago . Whereas Chelsea (at home ) had at least 5 days off . Anyone who seriously expected a win is a deluded idiot . This is a transitional season so get over it

We were dreadful mate. No escaping it. There might be reasons but no real excuses.

The result is less important than the performance. It's the fact that the performance was worse than the result that is worrying.

The sooner that we all realise that this season is done the less stress you will all give yourselves.
Be it injuries, be it form, tactics or lack of signings we are where we are.
Time to drop the washed up players and look to the rebuild.
We are going to have a tough final fee months what we must do is stick together as fans and hope for the best until this season is over.

Kane has been rather lacklustre for the best part of 18 months and yet only gets dropped when injured. That's not a problem?
Kane has 36 goals & assists in 33 games for club & country this season. Not sure there's much to this discussion as we quite clearly have different definitions for lacklustre.

Haaland is probalby once in a decade talent, he's been playing senior football since he turned 15.

Parrott has played just 3 games in senior football. That's apples and oranges.

The issue I have with Haaland is, he was available for a good price, in January. Sure it means we have to agree to a release clause but it would still be higher than what we paid.

More importantly he would have have scored us fucking goals. Goals. The things we don’t ever look scoring but look like letting in every five fucking minutes.

And then when we lose the game in the first 30 mins against a rested Chelsea team what do we do? Applaud Jose for giving kids a chance?

You can't completely rebuild a squad, which many here are calling for, without massive funds. Without CL football, where will the money come from? Many here reject the idea of selling players who carry a homegrown premium like Dele and Winks, so more of this season will be on the cards unless there are 150+ million pounds in sales going out the door.

With the PL TV rights money, no CL isn't critical financially. Difficulty attracting players wld be an issue perhaps.
None of our really successful signings cost massive amounts anyway, even adjusting for transfer market inflation. Need creativity in the market and to realise that finding the next quality young players is the way forward. Jose's transfer history doesn't suggest he will.

It is madness how we have got to this point, AGAIN
I can't believe that people are trying to convince themselves otherwise. We're not good enough without Kane and a lesser extent Sonny up top, we're just not.

Mou won't put Parrott on because the kid won't change anything and while we keep playing without a striker, Mou can't be blamed for our losses.
