According to BT Sports, in the last 5 years Poch has spent £87 million in players compared to £500/£600 million at Man City.

So, the question is, is this Levy fault for not providing the cash or Poch’s fault for not insisting on more money?

Discuss.

Who gives a shit about spend. We know the quality of the players he has. We just got mauled by Brighton. Brighton!

It really isn’t difficult. Levy can shoulder half the blame for not kicking on but there’s only one man to blame for the team we have being as bad as it is.

Thing is it's difficult to clear our an entire squad. We don't have the money or time to sign or promote 6 or 7 new players.

Chelsea have had huge dips in previous seasons then won the league a year later. Did they change half their squad? No. What changed? The manager.

We look like we're in a death spiral here and I think we need to act quickly before we end up like Chelsea in 15-16.

Regardless of whether the players were purchased or developed, the bottom line is that on paper this is the 3rd best squad in the league.

He is not adored at Madrid. Yeah Porto as he did for them what no one has done since. Although the night he won the CL there and said he was done, the medal meant nothing and he was going to Chelsea said everything about him. Wanting him just stinks of desperation.

Poch made it clear the team needed rebuilding but we failed to get players out and get players in. Poch knew that a while ago but has not had the backing. The players think they don't have to work, move and support each other any more. Players like Adele and Dier who I think are his type of player have been suffering too much with injuries and Poch has been forced to play the same old players ... Foyth, Lo Celso and Sess of course have been out of action too and are just the type of young hungry players he needs in the team
Well, these players are still way better than what Brighton has. He is just unable to find the right formation and his tactics have been abysmal. No excuses for Poch and like i said, it's ok to lose with dignity but 3-0 to Brighton is downright embarrassing. He should just go tomorrow morning while we still remember the good memories from the past. I wish Poch all the best.

Not being able to spend the same money as Man City is neither Levy nor Poch’s fault.

That happens to any team that's dead on their feet, and has happened to us before this season when we're losing heavily late in games when we were a lot fitter and better organised.

Did Lamela give up today in the first minute when he made the pathetic effort to block the cross? I don't think so. We played our only decent football today in the last 15 minutes.

If you can't see it then I don't know what else to say :shifty:

I think we are close to that. I am actually fine with any other manager who is keen to come to our club. Poch needs to go, period.

Poch needs to go. We are becoming a laughing stock. I’m not sure if I can face work on Monday...

Get a grip it’s only football. It happens to most clubs these days and right now it’s our turn. Suck it up and move on. I’m sure your WhatsApp groups and Facebook timeline will be full of hilarious and original memes but so fucking what? The players clearly don’t give a shit about us so why should we care about them?

If the rumours are true that they’ve turned on Poch and are now refusing to put the effort in then they need to get out of the club too. Arseholes, the lot of them. Absolute wimps.

It's easy I just look at everything Poch has achieved and look at where we were before he came with Redknapp saying this is as good as it gets and I see that with a squad with not a lot of investment he's consistently qualified for UCL almost every year of his management with us.

I pity your knee jerk reaction and lack of perspective.
It’s funny because I would’ve agreed with you a season ago. But months of piss poor football and the results as well as the squad seemingly turning on him or at least not trying for him when he’s under the cosh makes me want him out. But keep living in the past. You would watch the club regress because of sentiment, and there’s no guarantee he wouldn’t just jump in summer.
