that looks like a diamon to me, but as others are saying could well be 4-2-3-1. start fast, dont give brighton any chance to sense our vulnerabilities

If that's a diamond then we are well and truly fooked

bloody hell...just goes to show how desperate our situation is when people get excited to see Dier starting in the line up. I've nothing against him by the way and also think he should be brought in to shore up the wobbly defence

Sorry on way to ground 6 pints deep! May have over egged my excitement! But I have been crying out for weeks that he needs to start! We have been so open in midfield without. Proper dm. Also at least against Colchester he was about the only player who showed he actually gave a fuck about the team!

Not sure why people are getting excited, there is definitely still a possibility that this is a diamond.

Great lineup IMO. Been crying out for Sissoko at RB for a while, along with a Dier/Ndombele combo in the middle.

Has Poch seen the light?

He hasn't.... Circumstances have forced his hand. Having no RB has given him a space for Sissoko.

we've got some filthy rich posters on here today....can't believe how many are saying they'd ditch a diamond

Very pleased Winks is not starting.

To me, i think he is better off the bench anyway. To come on for a tiring Ndombele.

If this is a 4-2-3-1 like the look of this team

Actually has some balance

Feel bad for winks. Yes he was poor and struggled but its hard when you're having to put fires out everywhere and when you're receiving the ball you've got 4 players bearing down on you

Winks as predicted is dropped. Rose injured or just getting a rest? Hoping for a positive result today. Come on you Spurs !

He said in the press that he thought Sissoko was brilliant against So'ton and is currently our best option. He's also picked him ahead of Sanchez, Foyth and an actual RB in KWP (who appears to have completely fallen out of favour as I don't think he's injured). I think this is a sign that Poch is seriously considering Sissoko as future option there which I'm all for.

My post was more referring to the shape of the team, though. This is the first time we've played a 4-2-3-1 (please God) with a dedicated DM alongside a midfielder who can pass it forward in fuck knows how long. I think Poch has realised he needed to change things up after the Bayern result which isn't exactly hard to believe.
