Anyone watch the Wilder fight? Fury is such a muppet, came into the ring after the fight to call out Wilder-was embarrassing

Just watched it. Fury won't do well against someone as explosive as Wilder, I don't think he has the power to deter Wilder who will eventually get to him. That knockout was a thing of beauty, perfect timing.

Wilder wasn't too impressive overall IMO but the power he has is mental and that punch was brutal, thought he was very respectful at the end of the fight too-seems like a nice guy

I agree. He doesn't need to be impressive though, that right hand is a great leveller. I just think he's better than Fury.

Haye vs wilder would be very explosive

While Haye's stock is pretty low even domestically right now he should cash in on Dillion Whyte's current high profile name and fight him

Haye isn't going to get a big named fighter just yet but what he needs is a name that is recognisable to the British public next

Can't see him getting a fight with AJ and there's no point rematching Chisora. Whyte is now a recognisable name and someone that could sell a fight vs haye as a big event

Only other option is Price but right now (on the back of AJ) more peoole probably know Whyte and rate him higher than Price

That's the best way I can think of to make Haye relevant again as quickly as possible

I'm sure Wilder has a manditory next and Fury has to repeat agains Wlad. Prince Charles Martin would probably be next in line as a unification fight against Wilder after any manditory challenge anyway

Id like to see a card with aj vs chisora and whyte vs haye next. Or whyte vs chisora at least on the undercard of whoever else AJ might fight next

From what I've heard Whyte will be fighting Chisora after he rehabs his shoulder surgery.

That fight makes sense

I'd personally rather see haye fight whyte but either way is good

In an ideal world the next big domestic heavy card would see chisora vs whyte on the undercard of AJ vs Haye but I don't think for a minute that Hearn would risk AJ against Haye just yet

As I said before though AJ can't move backwards from the Whyte fight so who next for him? Equally Haye has to fight someone of some significance surely? (Maybe Price for him then if chisora and whyte are tied up and aj out of the question)

For some reason I don't want to see Haye/Joshua yet, I actually like them both probably why.

Haye surprised me last night, wasn't expecting that type of explosive fighting, but I guess he knows he needs to start from the bottom and work upwards, personally I'd love to se fury/haye but we know that won't happen.

Fair play to have for starting all over again, even on Dave...!

Heavyweight division feels a bit exciting these days!

We need to see if Haye can go rounds and have to go to work in a fight against someone durable. Depends if he can get the fights though, I think he could possibly struggle to find people who would risk going against him. Joshua will surely steer clear for now, Whyte I think would be better served rebuilding for now after the loss, I don't see the value in fighting Chisora again, Price is surely done, and Fury is not going to happen in the short term.

I dont think Haye would see much benefit in fighting Whyte as he's looking to climb the rankings as quick as he can, so needs ranked opponents. Joshua makes more sense both for financial and ranking reasons, although I wouldnt expect that fight until the back end of the year. Your right too, if I was Eddie Hearn I would be avoiding that fight like the plague.Fury Vs Wilder looks on for the end of the year too so exciting times ahead.

As for Joshua's next fight I think Steve Cunningham would be a good opponent, a smaller faster guy not unlike Haye but not as good and not as dangerous a puncher. A learning fight more than anything.

Chisora is the gatekeeper at HW. Id rather see AJ fight him.

Id pay to see that. Then AJ v Haye. In a sort of Calzaghe v Eubank way. Old guard taking on the new.

Yeah, but Chisora is a similar style of fighter to Whyte, he needs to fight boxers with different styles to develop. If he's going to fight Haye in the near future Joshua needs to get in there with someone with hand speed and mobility. As for the 'gatekeeper' thing, Joshua doesnt really need to get through any gate, he's ranked no2 with the WBC.

Seems like chisora is set to fight for the European crown next

Since the title is currently vacant if AJ plans to take that strap next it will have to be Chisora for him

It's a decent fight to be fair - probably generate more interest than aj fighting someone like cunningham or price at this stage and it would add another belt

Very interested to see who Haye fights next - I hope he doesn't do another small time self promoted shit box fight against a can

There are many decent fights out there for him - all of which that could set up a fight with AJ after

Haye vs price is interesting, as is haye vs whyte.

I get the feeling haye will steer clear of all our domestic fighters, not least aj and simply work his way up into a manditory short at either wilder or Martin

Personally don't think price would fair much better then Haye's last fight.Price cannot take one of Haye's shots he has been sparked by much weaker punchers.I like Price seems a nice guy technically good but can't take a shot.Think your right he will go for Wilder or Martin and would beat both in my opinion.

If you watch any interview with Haye he clearly states he is only interested in fighting top 10 ranked opponents. He's 35, he has a maximum of 2-3 years (6 fights, in which time his aim is to unify the division) left in the game, if that. Fighting a Price or even Whyte is of no benefit at this stage in his career, although I agree that Haye v Whyte would be an interesting fight.

If he can get a decent top 10 fighter next fair play

Although most of the top 10 are unknown to the wider public and after the aj fight whyte becomes a bigger name domestically now and would more directly set up a clash with aj I think

I think as I said before though he will take fights that will put him quickly in line for a manditory title shot so like you say that will be against higher ranked opposition (that and the weight of his forder ranking should quickly elevate him to that status)

But who? Povetkin is in line to fight wilder isn't he? Pulev is already at title challenge level. I suppose he could fight stiverne or jennings but I'm not sure many of the top 10 will be interested in a fight with haye as it's a very difficult fight with little reward for them (unless they're making a lot of money to fight him)

Two good shouts I think. To add, I think they'd make career high purses or close to, fighting Haye.
