Levy is fully to blame not investing in poch , let’s see what he does with Jose the mans a joke , Greta we have stadium no cl means no extra revenue
Sorry, you can give her plaudits for raising our awareness on the environment but giving her credit for the stadium?

Levy gives us a stadium and his god , we where on par with pool years ago , they decided not to spend on stadium and the squad, we actually are fickle

I just can't remember the last time we had a manager who went about the transfer market with the vision of building a team rather than buying in players based on their individual talents alone.

How long has it been since we had a peak Rose and Walker. We have got it wrong since then massively with our full back choices, even the average teams in the league have better full backs than we do. I'd take Baldock in a heart beat from Sheff United. Instead we will try and buy some dud from Juventus or PSG because it's a name.

Next, the DM position, since Wanyama broke down and Dembele was his way out we have done nothing to really fix this. How difficult is it to go out an target a really solid DM. Even with the worst scouting in the world, we could get Sangare from Toulouse for 15m and he'd be miles above anything we have at protecting the defence and offering us strength in there. I'm so bored of seeing how shit and unblanced our CM is compared to every other top 6 team out there. Winks and Sissoko wouldn't get into any top 4 or 6 team in England, Germany, Spain or Italy. Possibly even the French league, how we have ended up with that i don't know.

Lastly our AM options. They are all so inconsistent it destroys me, you'd say Son is probably the best from the bunch, but since we have been back, 5 games, he has been utter shit. If he really is near world class, you'd at least expect some magic from him. Utter crap. At least Bergwijn looks to be a consistent 7 to 8 out of ten AM and will be a good squad player. But so many duds in this position.

Lo Celso is starting to look fed up already, playing with a bunch of lethargic jokers.

Kane looks out of sorts. But based on the above who can blame him. Absolute shambles of a team with zero balance. I haven't even gone in on our CBs with the only saving grace that Dier actually looks a positive there.

Do any of you guys don't get it? POCH ISN'T COMING BACK. (note: Maurizo Pocitteno maybe will..) We've moved on!

I liked the man as much as you, but I try to move on with the club. I agree that the football hasn't been as enticing for a few months as it has been in the past, but no amount of whining changing things. Sorry guys.

Moved on? Or moved backwards...

Whenever he comes on I basically just watch him rather than the game because I'm desperate to see the player we paid all that money for.

Talking about spending money, Levy gets a lot of stick for not getting deals done or not getting them done quickly enough which is fair.

However it is worth looking down memory lane at our history when spending big. When we break our transfer record we tend to consistently make an absolute horlicks of it over quite some years now. Rebrov, Bent, Paulinho, Soldado, Sissoko and now Ndombele.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head here but I actually think Jose doesn’t want to coach the attack. I think he is giving them the freedom to react to certain situations and use their intelligence. The problem is they are either too used to being over coached or not very intelligent.
That has never worked and never will. No matter how good the players are they need a structure in which to work. They may all be fantastically intuitive and be able to create something from nothing, but unless there is a general plan of what to do then they will probably be on separate wavelengths and nothing will happen most, if not all, of the time.

It's no coincidence that City get so many goals from tap-ins. They are coached to create overloads out wide and to pull the ball back low from the by-line where the strikers (also well-coached) are waiting. Without that basic plan and being coached on how to implement it they would be as inept in the opposition box as we are.

When Mourinho was appointed we were told that his assistant is a genius in coaching attacking play. Either this isn't true or he's not being allowed to do it.

Grim when you read them off like that

The performance today was worse than the Sheffield game. I cannot think of a Spurs player I have disliked more than Aurier. Terrible attitude, horrible person and a useless player. Everybody knows he will never take on the full back, he cannot cross, is mistake prone and constantly gives the ball away. Yet for some reason Jose makes him pivotal to our game plan. Please get rid of him at the end of the season.

We can't pass to player in the same shirt once we've gone beyond the halfway line. We've become a very poor football team, we were playing bad under Poch, we're playing way worse now.

I, like many others on here I suspect, have had the ‘pleasure’ of witnessing some very poor teams, this one is giving them all a fucking good run for their money...if only they were running. I cannot believe how far this team has fallen. Absolutely shocking. I had gone past the point where Tottenham affected my moods....it’s come back....according to the wife.....

Winks and sissoko can't pick forward passes and whilst currently watching the man utd v villa it's amazing how much space there is on the pitch and how many available passes there are when wide players actually stay wide as they are meant to do.

Also, just seen on the bbc site that it’s Bournemouth’s first premiership game where their opponents haven’t had an effort on target....that was their 186th game....that says all you need to know....WOEFUL

& that's one of our problems, we put Aurier wide to put in crosses & they sh*te. Maybe we should do what Pep tends to, bring the FB's in & use the likes of Moura wide, although he's not a great crosser of the ball either.

How did Ndombele do in the second half? Is he the answer to our midfield problems? Did he put a shift in and track back?

If the scouts are getting it completely wrong then that falls to Levy as well. Our entire recruitment setup is a disaster. Joe Lewis needs to step in and relieve Levy of his transfer duties, confining his role to the business aspect of the club and nothing more. It won't happen, though.
