Absolutely nothing game. Nothing really learned from it beyond Sessegnon being a talent and Celso seeming tasty.
Is this correct ? I guess Jose will have felt he learned something about some players or at least confirmed his worrying suspicions (Eriksen, Rose). He has to try all his squad to decide who he can rely on and who he can't.

The gulf in certain areas was so evident. We clearly need new fullbacks and a defensive minded controller in midfielder. Their wing play was insane.

Must admit I'm more concerned about the 2 in front of the back 4. Dier looks ponderous & Sissoko really isn't good enough.

Think he was left exposed & too often was trying to deal with the FB & the wide player, so didn't really have a chance to shine.
Agree with this - he has barely had any game time and then is expected to deal with Coman - a player a lot of players would struggle to cope with. Not saying KWP will be an amazing player but hard to judge him fully based on last night.

I agree, but our fullbacks were so exposed last night. Tough opposition I know.

Ah, we already know about those players. They were just sacrificial lambs so that the likes of Sess and Celso could be given full run outs.

All about that process.

I'm sure Jose didn't expect to win but treated this as a friendly. Surely by now he should be able to see that Rose, Sissy, Eriksen, Dier and KWP have no future here. I hope his ego doesn't convince himself that if he persists with the likes of Dire and Sissy as our 2 deep CMs that he can improve them, time to move on.

GLC was disappointing but also lacks game time so not sure if much can be taken from his cameo, did some good things but gave the ball away alot, he needs more game time. Sess was a bright spot, nice goal and a played OK.

And that Davis as a LB was brilliant, love to sign this kid to replace Rose.

What makes you think we can sign a promising young player from Bayern?

Watching Bayern vs Bremen, and they’re ripping Bremen apart. What stands out is the intelligence and awareness of the Bayern players, especially when they get into the final third. They hardly ever fail to pick the right pass or cross into the box, and then I think about Spurs and the number of thick players we have who have no understanding of how to play and just run 50 yards in a straight line with their heads down.
