Maybe, seems more to me Arteta’s insistence on playing him wide instead of through the middle. Long may it continue because he’s wasted there imo.

But I dont think he can play through the middle in the PL. Zero hold up play

Yeah, agree back to goal is not really his game. Depends on what system you play I suppose.

Every time I see them recently though Lacazette seems to fluff chances that Aubameyang would score from. Not that I’m complaining.

Not your finest moment on here this.

Still totally stand by it, as I am sure every pundit that was asked the question, if you were building a team to win title from players in League, money no object who would you play, and they almost unanimously answered Aubameyang would.

Kane and Son have started on fire this season, what are we about 12% of the way through it. hopefully they keep it going. Cannot understand how Arsenal are playing, didn't watch tonight as not paying to watch, but in previous games they were certainly not getting the best out of their star asset, but unquestionably over last couple of seasons Aubameyang was the best striker in the League.

You cop a log of flak on here but people would have more sympathy if your just stopped trying to double down on your arguments like this because this is just a load of fekin tripe and you know it

Ironically, Arsenal needs Ozil desperately.

Eh for what? Or is this a joke?

He hasn't been exceptional for a long time. He really is a weird one, to get the best out of him you really need to build your team around him. He is at his best when he is dictating play from deeper areas IMO, but with a style of football and the players need to trust him to do that.

He is a complete luxury player, with the way arsenal are at the moment I don't see how he can turn things around. He has never really set the world on fire and more importantly he has never been too consistent.

But anyway what arsenal miss is a strong manager who can control the egos in the squad. The problem is not the individual talent but the mentality. They need steel, I can see what Arteta wants to do, but they are really going to struggle with that squad.

Many saw Arteta as the next big thing but I couldn't see it. He is new to management and for someone like that to get a job that big was ridiculous.

He still might make it work but arsenal, utd and Chelsea are all taking huge risks with unproven managers.

Anyway my tip for the season is that west ham will finish above them. Arteta to be sacked and they are back to square one.

They are following a similar route to united but spending less money. A scattergun approach to signings and managers alike since Wenger.

He was good, but he certainly wasn't unquestionably the best striker in the league. He didn't even make the team of the season.

I’ve sat next to people like that many times at the Lane. It makes me cringe, particularly when they are with their kids. How can people be so out of control of their emotions and understanding of their surroundings?
Some people don't have an awful lot going on in their lives, if your personal happiness depends solely on your football team winning, watching that crumble infront of you can have that effect, they're just lashing out.
Match threads on here are full of it.

They don't play him in the middle because he isn't good at holding the ball up or leading the line. He needs to be coming onto the ball from deep. Not sure how that makes him the best striker in the league.

He did what now?
Troopz is pals with PEA isn't he? Yet he continuously slags off Arsenal players during each video. I'd be very annoyed if my club captain was hanging around with people like that, especially when he gets abusive about it.

Why have Real Madrid or Barcelona never gone in for him when it seemed he was certain to move there?
