Great article you have to love Andros I hope he come home to do his coaching badges ones day.

John Mc must be proud!

I’ve never wanted anyone to make it at spurs as much as him and Ryan Mason!

The future England captain casually sat in the top right corner.

To be honest that video put me right off Andros when I first saw it. I’m just a fan of the ‘look at me’ types. Then he followed it up with mostly awful displays, and one goal that was quite clearly a cross.

Loved that interview though. Very raw and honest. Makes you wonder what Kane went through, especially when at Millwall.

Brilliant article.

I still reckon if Poch has played him on left in his first season as manager and Chadli on the right both would have been better.

I know he references playing on left and right but just this feeling I have...

Was harsh the way we let him go. Always seemed an over reaction to me.
That was Poch, and i think that sort of arrogance lead to his downfall in his last few months at spurs, when he lost the respect of the players

Whoever wrote it, it's a great piece, it felt like I might as well have been sat in a pub with him just telling a story over a pint and I like that sort of article, it feels much more personal than lots of narration cut up with a few quotes.

I kinda hope he lurks here, he's a Yido through and through and, other than the usual bullshit some fans bellow after a few bad games about any of our players, I've rarely seen anyone on here question him as a person, his attitude etc.

Once he's done playing I'd love to see him back at the Lane, training the youth, sharing the experience and wisdom he's clearly got packed away in that furry noggin of his.

Good lad, Andros, keep being you, mate (y) Yido.

It’s funny, because if you asked somebody on the street about Andros Townsend, they’d probably say, “Oh, he was amazing back in the day.”

Interesting to read that a hamstring injury was what stopped him from being the player he used to be, changed his running style and made him slower.
So quickly a career can change, we might be seeing similar with Sessegnon, and it could just as easily happen with Brennan Johnson as well. Quick wingers often exposed.
