So we have to listen to the opinion of another former Arsenal idiot. Groves is not fit to lick Dele’s boots. To compare Dele to Berahino is insulting and ridiculous. Dele has had to deal with lingering injury issues and I am sure that once he gets a run of games he will be ok.

In return, Dele Alli has advised Perry Groves to ditch his off-field activities and focus solely on anything but football to avoid becoming 'another Charlie Nicholas'.

He had a lot come to him as a young man and has had a dip but he will be back - hopefully soon!

Do you disagree with the sentiment that Alli should focus on football?
Not wholly disagree; but I’d imagine it’s important to diversify as a footballer - so many drift into obscurity when they finish playing; plus, it must get somewhat boring during downtime, there’s only so many ‘things’ to buy & consume. On the other hand - coincidence or not - his form has dipped since changing agents. I’ve a belief he’ll recover his form, and I’m hoping being dropped by Southgate will get him to reassess.

He's best up closer to Kane, he's suffered since Poch introduced this dogshit diamond, the longer he persists with it, the longer Dele suffers.

Yep. Play him off Kane and do it for a run of games. Not drop him in and out. Unless he’s still feeling his hamstring injuries this is what should happen.

There's been some rumours that his attitude has been crap for a while. Funny how that often seems to happen when players sign a big deal. Same happened with Bentaleb.

Where have you seen/read those rumours. I was actually just wondering where he fit in to all of this talk of players unhappy with Poch/wanting out ...

Some ITK, can't remember who, said he wasn't in good shape attitude wise in pre season along with the usual suspects.

Somebody said that his hamstring injuries might not have been helped by his activities outside football but he realises this now and is going to cut back on those.

I do have questions with our medical team now TBH. Players either come back later than expected or they are no longer the shape and condition they were previously in.

Kane, Wanyama, Dier, Dele, Davies, Sess etc. Lamela and Rose had very long lay off and took sooo long to get back to their levels. Even Ndombele is so unfit now after his injury with us.

Cannot argue his form is not as it once was. Tactics play a part but Alli needs to do take some responsibility on getting back into form.
